The classic camp consist of up to four custom-designed tents and a communal lounge reminding us of the authentic safaris of British and Dutch explorers. The tent style draws on traditions of the classic East African safari with beautifully detailed campaign style furniture and soft furnishings. The use of rich colours and luxurious leathers alongside oil lamps has created an unforgettable atmosphere that will take you back in time and bring you closer to nature.

Your stay at Tanda Tula Field Camp will be unlike any other safari in South Africa. The  camp offers travellers a unique and incredible walking safari guided by the camp’s experienced field guide and tracker. You will track game on foot, and it is not unknown for travellers to get up close to black rhinos, lions and elephants! You will also be able to take part in game drives. After a busy adventure, come back to camp and enjoy the culinary delights of your private chef who will prepare cuisine over the coal fire. Relax in the evenings listening the nocturnal sounds of the bush and learn about African folklore.
