Federal Airlines from Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport

On arrival at Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport, there will be a representative holding a Jacada Travel signboard to receive you. This representative will walk you from the arrival building to the shuttle terminal (2-3 minutes) and finally transfer you to Federal Airline’s domestic lounge for your onward flight (a 10 minute drive). Although you will be guided for the duration, this visual guide should give you an idea of what to expect.
Walking through the arrival hall, exit the building and continue towards the InterContinental Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport hotel.

You’ll arrive at a bus terminal where Federal Airline’s waiting lounge is located.
From here you’ll board a shuttle bus to Federal Airline’s domestic lounge on the other side of the airport.
Your baggage will be weighed and checked in. If you do need to store any luggage, there is a locked storage area which is secured 24/7.
Finally, relax in the lounge before boarding your flight. There’s also a shop here for any last minute safari goods and soft luggage.
