My husband and I recently traveled to South Africa and we utilized Jacada travel services. Jody Van Merode planned the perfect trip for us- we spoke over the phone and she put together an itinerary that would best match what we wanted to see, our interests and our budget! We visited two very different game reserves - each beautiful in their own way! We saw all of the wildlife we hoped for and more! Jacada helped me plan and execute a wonderful weeklong pre-cruise trip to Ecuador for our family party of three couples celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. From the very first call, it was clear Lily and team knew the region well and were passionate about providing excellent customer service. Regular check-in’s were scheduled, emails were responded to quickly and there were multiple local contact options provided for when we were actually in Ecuador.
In the planning stage, we were offered a wide range of activities, the agenda was built out based on our feedback (3 nights in Mashpi, a delicious lunch to celebrate the anniversary itself, a private tour guide in Quito, beer tasting, etc,) and continued to be discussed and adjusted. The team even came back to us a few days prior to our departure to suggest a slight tweak to our agenda to ensure we wouldn’t end up too tired.
The in-country team set up for us was also awesome. From the first airport pickup at 2am due to travel delays until we were dropped off at the end of our journey, we were very well cared for. We learned a lot about the history and culture from our guide, our driver was an absolute legend (driving the primitive roads to Mashpi and in old town Quito isn’t for the faint of heart) and we had the best time exploring all that Mashpi Lodge had to offer.
I highly recommend Jacada as a travel partner for Ecuador and will definitely work with them again as we plan other adventures in the region and around the world.
Alice Cosso and Meg Simpson helped us with our trip to Spain. We toured Barcelona, Majorca, Seville, and Madrid. We are a family of four with two teenagers who were seeing Spain for the first time. We relied upon Meg and Alice to help us with tours,flights,hotels, excursions. We accomplished so much in two weeks. I can’t imagine doing it without their help. We never would have seen what we saw without them. It would’ve been impossible for me to plan this trip on my own. The trip was perfect from start to finish which I completely attribute to the communication with James and Eugenia. I really felt as if our needs were anticipated and our style of travel understood. They truly picked the best accommodations and made transfers between easy. I've never had such a seamless and well-organized travel experience. It is so worth it to have a bespoke holiday planned and managed for you by experienced travel designers and concierges.
We had an excellent trip to Barcelona/Mallorca this August 2024 Jacada Travel! All small details were well thought out and there was someone available for any emergency changes (for example, our flight was overbooked and the concierge in Barcelona was aware and made changes appropriate to make the flight from Barcelona to Mallorca). The choice of hotels and activities were planned wonderfully by Dan Rhodes (Travel Designer) and Rita Pinto (Personal Travel Concierge) and their associated company, Made for Spain. A very memorable trip for my husband and I and our daughter (12) and son(10).
We worked with Jamey and Angela at Jacada to plan our honeymoon in South Africa. We started from scratch not knowing much about South Africa and Jamey met with us to get to know us and our budget and created the most incredible 10 day trip for us. My husband and I have both travelled a lot, but this trip was the best experience of our lives. The team was always there if we had any questions or concerns and every single day of our trip was planned perfectly. I can't recommend Jacada enough!
All the coordination from the time we entered the country being toured until we left was handled in a seamless and professional manner. Every accommodation was first class, and all employed staff members in the overnight venues were truly professional. The only exception was the airline chosen for internal flights. Their performance was very uneven and disjointed.
James was wonderful! So helpful and courteous. I will definitely consider Jacada when we have future travel needs
Dan Rhodes, my travel agent was, was extremely smart and perceptive. He put together the perfect itinerary. The local agency, Made for Spain and Portugal was also terrific.
I can’t praise Dan enough. I have seldom met anyone so amazing at listening and then working with your guidance to put together the trip of a lifetime. I have a lot of experience working with young people from the best universities and law schools in the United States. When I say that Dan is extraordinary and down to earth as well as precise and flexible, I mean it as high praise.
We booked our travel to Tanzania and Kenya for our 25th wedding anniversary.
Jacada travels This one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. They were always with us throughout the trip without being overbearing and constantly in communication as we were traveling with younger kids.
The places that jacads suggested Were top-notch and we felt like we were pampered all through our trip.
Every necessity and requirements were fulfilled and The people who helped us were cheerful and made it a wonderful experience.

Great trip to Egypt and the trip down the Nile was terrific. All stops were planned and the tours were great. We were always under the supervision of a guide with plenty of time to have our own experience of the Egyptian society and businesses.
Jacada Travel organized our once in a lifetime bespoke tour of South Korea and Japan. We have travelled extensively to all continents with the exception of Antarctica. I do all the arranging so our trip with Jacada was our first ever organized tour and it was simply the best.
Rachel O’Leary and Gita Widyasari organized an absolutely amazing trip. Every detail was taken care of, the hotels were just fantastic, the guides so knowledgeable and personable and travel between destinations was absolutely seamless. We saw the most incredible cultural and historic sights. Our trip was timed for the Cherry Blossoms and we saw the first of the Cherry Blossoms in Busan, South Korea the peak in Kyoto, Japan and the end of the season at Mt. Fuji.
As every single detail was taken care of we were able to sit back and enjoy every single moment of our trip like no other. I highly recommend Jacada Travel and would give it ten stars if I could. We survived utilizing only duffle bags, and listened to your stresses of Namibia being cold (since it’s their winter) and packed winter clothes! Thanks ladies for the gifts (wool hats and shopping bag) and welcome notes left at the lodges throughout the trip.
Wilderness provided the “ground and air” services. We were very, very impressed by the expansiveness of the company (pilots, lodging, airplanes, staff, etc.). You were always there when needed – escorted from the planes, driven between lodging and airports. We never stressed because you took care of us – we’re so sorry we didn’t record all the members names, but please thank them. Also, Andrea, thank you for such prompt communication – you kept us informed of upcoming activities and were always responsive to our inquiries.

Our Sri Lanka trip was amazing. We added Sri Lanka to our already planned Maldives vacation and engaged Jacada to design our trip. Rosanna understood our goals and expectations right off the bat. She put together an itinerary that was perfect. We have engaged travel agents prior, and this was by far one of our best experiences. She is absolutely lovely, easy to communicate with, a fabulous travel designer and a true professional. Our trip was perfect! We especially enjoyed our food tour guide in Columbo, our adventures and stay at Wild Coast Tented Lodge and the choice of luxury boutique hotels we stayed at. We are spoiled and very well-travelled and this review is very well deserved. We will definitely book with Jacada and Rosanna for all our future travels.
Our experience was top notch from start to finish!! The travel, camps, food, excursions, guides, accommodations, and hosts all deserve 5 stars. All of our exceptions of the trip were blown out of the water. We not only loved seeing Namibia, but we learned so much along the way. Our guides at every camp were truly ambassadors for their country and the region. We received personalized care and our experiences were perfectly curated. My family was so impressed and we are already planning our next adventure with Jacada.
We used jacada to plan our Southern Africa and they truly went over and above our expectations. We planned and the trip about 7 months ahead of time and were immediately impressed with the professionalism and the comprehensive itinerary put together. At one point, one of the properties we wished to stay at was sold out on the original planned dates, but within hours our travel expert, Jacob, had a newly crafted itinerary to accommodate new dates at that property. If we had any questions, Jacob would answer via email within a day, despite a 5 hour time difference. Even though we never met Jacob in person, it felt like we had numerous in person meetings given the detail and precision with which things were planned. I also have to commend our concierge coordinator, Angela. She was able to secure exclusive reservations at top restaurants and provided in depth details about our day to day activities. Once we actually arrived at our destination, we could completely shut our minds off and enjoy because every single second of the trip was taken care of. At every airport we had someone there to receive us immediately off the plane and assist with baggage, transfers, etc. The guides on excursions were all top class. We also had an “on grounds” crew available via WhatsApp who would be in contact with us everyday and provide the important, specific details for that day.
I cannot commend Jacada enough. I would 100% use their services again and would recommend to any of my friends and family.

We are a family that has used Jacada over the past 10 years to arrange our travel to Peru, Argentina, Spain and most recently Ecuador including the Galapagos. They curate terrific accommodations, the travel logistics are hassle free even in remote locations, and the local experts and guides are really wonderful and nice people. Jacada helped us plan the most amazing and seamless honeymoon around Indonesia. I have never used a travel agent before and am usually extremely Type A when it comes to planning my own vacations but I am so thankful I let them take over the planning and scheduling so I actually got to relax on my own vacation. I was kind of nervous about this trip because my husband has never been to Asia before and this was going to be outside of his comfort zone, but Jacada really made sure we were taken care of from the beginning. The guide and drivers we had during our trip were fantastic and everything that was planned was unbelievably thoughtful and organized perfectly. Our Tanzania Safari was the second trip through Jacada. Jacada continued to live up to our expectations of personalized experience and attention to detail. Our travel designer (Jamey) and travel concierge (Betty) worked tirelessly to ensure that we had the travel experience we wanted. They took our feedback and made adjustments to the trip. During the trip, we had great communication during the transfers, and never once had a time that we felt we were in the dark over upcoming transfers or travel plans. The trip itself was magical. Personal guides throughout each of our safari experience. In particular Wilderness Usawa was everything we wanted. From romantic private delicious dinners to comfortable and luxurious accommodations (in the middle of the Serengeti!), we had an amazing 4 days stay. We are looking forward to planning our next trip with Jacada (seriously, we are actually planning our next trip with Jacada)

Jacada was helpful and responsive every step of the process. Jamey Lowis designed our amazing trip to Tanzania. He spent time figuring out what my family was interested in and created the best itinerary. Our Serengeti safari was fabulous. We stayed at the Olakira migration camp, where everyone was wonderful. Our guide, Daniel, was top notch and went out of his way to make sure our game drives were spectacular. We saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and a host of other animals. The Olakira team was super accommodating and the food was great. The Manor at Ngorongoro Crater was also wonderful. It was a beautiful lodge with luxury accommodations and amazing food! Altus, the manager, and his team were very inviting and helpful. Overall, Jacada made sure that every detail was taken care of—once we landed in Tanzania, we didn’t have to worry about anything. I would definitely recommend Jacada to family and friends!
Hello. The connection made with our tour representative (Meg Simpson) was established very quickly and I felt comfortable and trusted her advice and her manner of representing her company. She quickly helped me get some great ideas for our trip and put together an itinerary that we were able to fine tune, make some adjustments and move forward. She kept us informed on a timely basis and was so very kind and helpful. Our consiege Ana White Vilardell was equally as proficient, knowledgeable and kind.
