Jacada was very helpful in every aspect of planning our trip to Portugal. Kate Herz and Rita Pinto were so receptive to our thoughts and needs and made wonderful itinerary suggestions. All of our tour guides and drivers were experienced and informative and always punctual. The hotels (all fabulous) and activities which were recommended were fun and interesting and not always the "typical" tourist ones. As usual, this was a wonderfully curated trip. While no one can see & do everything during a trip of less than 4 weeks, it felt like we got close. Ireland is a magical country, full of beauty & history, and we would all do well to emulate the friendly people we met everywhere who are the heart of a grand experience.
Jacada has done it again! Our trip to Italy was awesome! So many great things. Of course I believe Italy never disappoints. But Jacada made this an extra special trip. The choice of hotels were amazing!!!!! The Bellevue Syrene was stunning and the view was incredible!

Everything about our trip to South Africa arranged by Jacada Travel was exceptional. Jody Van Merode, Senior Tavel Designer, listened to our wants and needs and put together a perfect trip that was within our stated budget. She was great to work with! Jody and our assigned concierge, Betty Gatwiri, communicated with us frequently before our trip about what to expect and quickly responded to all our questions. Once the trip began, Jacada had someone on the ground to take care of us at all times. Meeting us at the airports and fast tracking us through customs was an invaluable service. Wayde with Wilderness Travel, the company Jacada contracts with, was available through What's App to help us with any issues we had while in South Africa and regularly communicated with us regarding the next steps in our intinerary. In Cape Town, our stay at the One & Only could not have been better. The accommodations were beautiful and spacious and the staff could not do enough to serve you. The location at the Victoria & Alfred waterfront was so convenient to shopping and restaurants. Our private driver and guide in Cape Town was Etienne with Wilderness Travel. Etienne did an exceptional job. He had a wealth of knowlege about the places we visited, as well as the history, culture and current affairs of South Africa. He was very pleasant and accommodating. We could not have been happier with his service. Etienne was also our guide in the Winelands and took us to several beautiful wineries with exceptional wines, including Ernie Els Winery where we had a wonderful lunch. Finally, our stay at Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge was incredible. We can't say enough about it. The setting and common areas of the Lodge were beautiful and designed to blend in with the environmnent; our villa was beautiful, spacious and luxurious; the chef was amazing; the food was delicious, plentiful, and beautifully presented; there were many options at every meal; the premium alcohol that was complimentary was unbelievable; the staff was exceptional and could not do enough to satisfy your every need, and the managers went out of their way to speak to us regulary to make sure that we were happy with everything. Our private twice daily game drives were better than we could have imagined. It was great that the four of us traveling together did not have to share the vehicle with other guests. Our guide, Erin, and tracker, Leslie, were extremely knowledgeable about the animals, their habits, the landscape, etc. They put us at ease when we had many close encounters with the Big Five. They were also very flexible and attentive to our wants. We can't say enough about Erin and Leslie. They're a great team.
All in all our trip was fabulous and we highly recommend Jacada Travel to anyone wanting to plan a trip to South Africa!!
Wonderfully planned and executed trip! Had a great time in Morocco thanks to Jacada and their team on the ground. Saw and did a little bit of everything. Our favorite thing was riding the camels to see the Sahara Desert sunset and having lunch with a delightful Berber family in the Atlas Mountains.
Excellent customized planning for our trip and travel arrangements made everything easy and hassle-free. We felt very well taken care of and appreciated the wonderful service and great recommendations.
Our trip to Paris, overall, was spectacular and one for the books. Paris has left a lasting impression on us and we plan to return soon. There were a couple of bumps here and there, but nothing that we could not figure out. Anytime we reached out to the Jacada team or the local team, they were always very prompt and helpful (always!). The hotel staff was amazing, all of our drivers and guides were top notch… overall, just an incredible experience. Thank you to the Jacada team for helping us organize our “bucket list” trip to Paris. We will never forget it and will certainly work with you all again.
Jacada was great. The knowledgeable people at Jacada - James, Betty, Wade to name the ones we were in touch with - plus all the people who were there meeting us at planes, picking us up at hotels -- on time. While the sights and sounds in the bush were amazing, the hospitality at Lion Sands River Lodge and Thornybush Saseka was truly memorable. We can now see why people go back.
I would gladly recommend a Jacada African Safari. Now, we're considering a Jacada trip to Asia for next year.

Our tour guide took us on a tour of Sydney followed by stunning visages of the southern highlands.
We then flew to the outback for breathtaking sunrise/ sunsets.
A final stop in the Daintree rain forest for some snorkeling and revitalizing spa treatment topped off our Australian journey.

We recently returned from a trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia booked through Jacada Travel. From the initial stages of planning through to following up with us at the end of our vacation, Jacada went above and beyond our expectations with personalized service. Jamie and Eugenia, our travel designer and concierge respectively, took our ideas and preferences and ran with them creating a seamless itinerary that felt like us. We especially appreciated the attention that went into making sure the experience could be gluten free (celiac disease) whether we were at a remote safari camp or a fine dining restaurant. When we ran into flight delays arriving to our tour starting point, the in-country support was invaluable in rearranging activities and ensuring we didn't miss out on anything. Jacada arranged an extraordinary experience for my trip to the Amazon and Pantanal regions of Brazil. They thoughtfully planned every detail from airport pickups to expert personalized guides to unique lodging to all transportation within the country. I took a leap of faith when I booked my family trip to South Korea with Jacada Travel. I researched online and liked the website. After I spoke with Ellie who is the Asia specialist, I anxiously awaited the itinerary, was wowed by the trip details, and booked the trip immediately even without any further pursuit of more thorough review of Jacada Travel. My family was not disappointed and in fact, was more impressed with the travel guides, transportation, sites, food, and hotels. We will definitely work with Jacada Travel in the near future.

Jacada helped me plan and execute a wonderful weeklong pre-cruise trip to Ecuador for our family party of three couples celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. From the very first call, it was clear Lily and team knew the region well and were passionate about providing excellent customer service. Regular check-in’s were scheduled, emails were responded to quickly and there were multiple local contact options provided for when we were actually in Ecuador.
In the planning stage, we were offered a wide range of activities, the agenda was built out based on our feedback (3 nights in Mashpi, a delicious lunch to celebrate the anniversary itself, a private tour guide in Quito, beer tasting, etc,) and continued to be discussed and adjusted. The team even came back to us a few days prior to our departure to suggest a slight tweak to our agenda to ensure we wouldn’t end up too tired.
The in-country team set up for us was also awesome. From the first airport pickup at 2am due to travel delays until we were dropped off at the end of our journey, we were very well cared for. We learned a lot about the history and culture from our guide, our driver was an absolute legend (driving the primitive roads to Mashpi and in old town Quito isn’t for the faint of heart) and we had the best time exploring all that Mashpi Lodge had to offer.
I highly recommend Jacada as a travel partner for Ecuador and will definitely work with them again as we plan other adventures in the region and around the world.
Alice Cosso and Meg Simpson helped us with our trip to Spain. We toured Barcelona, Majorca, Seville, and Madrid. We are a family of four with two teenagers who were seeing Spain for the first time. We relied upon Meg and Alice to help us with tours,flights,hotels, excursions. We accomplished so much in two weeks. I can’t imagine doing it without their help. We never would have seen what we saw without them. It would’ve been impossible for me to plan this trip on my own. It was seamless and I was able to enjoy myself without stressing out about where we needed to go next.I would absolutely recommend Jacada travel, Meg and Alice to my closest friends and family. The trip was perfect from start to finish which I completely attribute to the communication with James and Eugenia. I really felt as if our needs were anticipated and our style of travel understood. We had an excellent trip to Barcelona/Mallorca this August 2024 Jacada Travel! All small details were well thought out and there was someone available for any emergency changes (for example, our flight was overbooked and the concierge in Barcelona was aware and made changes appropriate to make the flight from Barcelona to Mallorca). The choice of hotels and activities were planned wonderfully by Dan Rhodes (Travel Designer) and Rita Pinto (Personal Travel Concierge) and their associated company, Made for Spain. A very memorable trip for my husband and I and our daughter (12) and son(10).
We worked with Jamey and Angela at Jacada to plan our honeymoon in South Africa. We started from scratch not knowing much about South Africa and Jamey met with us to get to know us and our budget and created the most incredible 10 day trip for us. My husband and I have both travelled a lot, but this trip was the best experience of our lives. The team was always there if we had any questions or concerns and every single day of our trip was planned perfectly. I can't recommend Jacada enough!
All the coordination from the time we entered the country being toured until we left was handled in a seamless and professional manner. Every accommodation was first class, and all employed staff members in the overnight venues were truly professional. The only exception was the airline chosen for internal flights. Their performance was very uneven and disjointed.

Dan Rhodes, my travel agent was, was extremely smart and perceptive. He put together the perfect itinerary. The local agency, Made for Spain and Portugal was also terrific.
I can’t praise Dan enough. I have seldom met anyone so amazing at listening and then working with your guidance to put together the trip of a lifetime. I have a lot of experience working with young people from the best universities and law schools in the United States. When I say that Dan is extraordinary and down to earth as well as precise and flexible, I mean it as high praise.

Jacada travels This one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken. They were always with us throughout the trip without being overbearing and constantly in communication as we were traveling with younger kids.
The places that jacads suggested Were top-notch and we felt like we were pampered all through our trip.
Every necessity and requirements were fulfilled and The people who helped us were cheerful and made it a wonderful experience.
I have no doubt in recommending the travel company and the advice they gave and James who was at Travel concierge was very knowledgeable and helped us figuring out what exactly we needed and again this trip will be cherished By us for the rest of our lives.

Great trip to Egypt and the trip down the Nile was terrific. All stops were planned and the tours were great. We were always under the supervision of a guide with plenty of time to have our own experience of the Egyptian society and businesses.
Jacada Travel organized our once in a lifetime bespoke tour of South Korea and Japan. We have travelled extensively to all continents with the exception of Antarctica. I do all the arranging so our trip with Jacada was our first ever organized tour and it was simply the best.
Rachel O’Leary and Gita Widyasari organized an absolutely amazing trip. Every detail was taken care of, the hotels were just fantastic, the guides so knowledgeable and personable and travel between destinations was absolutely seamless. We saw the most incredible cultural and historic sights. Our trip was timed for the Cherry Blossoms and we saw the first of the Cherry Blossoms in Busan, South Korea the peak in Kyoto, Japan and the end of the season at Mt. Fuji.
As every single detail was taken care of we were able to sit back and enjoy every single moment of our trip like no other. I highly recommend Jacada Travel and would give it ten stars if I could.
