Jacada Travel is the way to go! Our trip to Peru was amazingly planned. We had such a wonderful trip with excellent guides and just the right mix of activities and relaxation time. We recently went on a 2 weeks IndoChina trip which included (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos) the hotel selection, the tour guides and even the recommendations were on spot. The itinerary that was designed to us was very good and it met our expectations. They did an excellent job with picking the hotels and doing all internal flight bookings.
Keith who was responsible for our travel design was very responsive and gave us good advise on what to see and where to go.I enjoyed the small welcome notes left in different destinations by Keith and he kept following up on us during our trip to make sure that everything was all right.

Our third trip with Jacada. This one to Chile, great hotels, seamless arrangements, personalized service as usual.
We have just returned from travelling to South America ( Galápagos, Santa Cruz Highlands, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Guayaquil, Cuzco, Lima). From the initial contact with Lily to the scheduled follow up call and all the travel between, the experience was beyond expectations. We felt truly cared for and welcomed at every stop with seamless airport pick ups, hotel check ins and guided tours. The accommodations were exceptional, the guides knowledgeable, professional and engaging and the excursions planned excellent and not so rigid that we could not alter them according to our likes or feelings that day. Our trip was completely stress free because of Jacada, allowing us to focus solely on the reason we were there and to return home with memories to cherish. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacada and know we will now use them exclusively for further travel.

It was a great trip with excellent services all the way around. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was the hotel. It was well located but did not have room service and the breakfast was not very good. The hotel at best was a 3 Star hotel. The rest of the trip was Fantastic all the excursions were great and the Golf my son and husband really enjoyed. Thank you we will be using you again.
Another fantastic trip organized by Jacada. We celebrated my birthday and on the arrival at our first hotel, i was greeted with a super yummy birthday cake and balloons. I always had a dream to visit South Africa and do a safari. Something I always wanted do since a young boy watching TV and going to the zoo. Last year, after much searching and research, I came across Jacada Travel. They had much to chose from, so I decide to contact them. Best decision I ever made. Tess from the Cape Town office contacted me and we talked about what I wanted and customized the a tour of the Cape Town region and topping off with a safari. I have now had two amazing vacations planned by Jacada Travel. I can’t say enough good things about them and have referred a lot of friends as well. I am not a planned vacation person but this is done so well that it can still feel quite spontaneous if that’s what you prefer. Jacada has found accommodation and tours that I would never have found on my own. Using them as made these trips truly feel like vacation since everything is well planned and effortless once you arrive

Byron and his team at Jacada put together a fantastic dream vacation for me and my husband. Our bucket list Safari trip to South Africa and Zambia was perfect for us! Byron and I talked over the phone several times so that he had a good feel for the type of travel we prefer. We started planning the trip about a year in advance which helped Jacada secure wonderful accommodations for us. Our expectations for the trip were high, but somehow Jacada was able to exceed them! It seemed quite apparent that Jacada had matched us with Em, due to her personal experience in traveling within Africa. She then proceeded to personalise our trip in a way that truly made it our trip, and not an off the shelf package.
We experienced a minor transport issue (not Jacada's issue) however they were quick to respond, and minimised the impact, to ensure that we did not have to worry, and our vacation could continue.

My wife and I used Jacada this summer to organize our two-week trip to South Korea and Japan. We had never previously used an agency to arrange our travel but did so both to save time and to benefit from their expertise, because we wanted assistance arranging for hotels, destinations, inter-country travel, guides, etc. We also intended to meet -- and travel with -- our daughter and her friend in Japan, after visiting Korea and needed to coordinate those arrangements as well.
We worked with two of Jacada's associates -- Kate and Gloria -- and came through the experience deeply respecting their ability and professionalism. They handled all the arrangements flawlessly, consulting with us about our needs and desires and following up on all the many moving parts of our trip. The three guides they arranged for us in Seoul, Tokyo and Kyoto were terrific and their recommendations for hotels, places of interest and restaurants were impeccable. It was also very helpful having transportation at our disposal, which permitted us to see much more than we could have had we needed to always get around on our own (although we also had sufficient time by ourselves to explore Tokyo and Seoul and navigate their wonderful subway systems.) At one point we asked them to help us economize on certain aspects of our trip and they were completely accommodating. They also assisted my daughter and her friend when they wanted to surprise us with a cooking lesson in Kyoto.
Although we could have done all the work ourselves and saved some money there is no doubt that as a result of using Jacada we had a far more enjoyable, stress-free and interesting vacation, seeing sites we never would have thought of on our own. They very much deserve the praise that others have given them on this site.
Our trip was spectacular. It was action packed in the short time we had with seamless transfers and pickups; everyone was on time. All of the hotels and activities were top-notch, unique and informative.
The highlights of our trip: the long drive from San Pedro Atacama through Bolivia to the salt flats; the scenery was some of the most gorgeous and remote. We really felt like we were on top of the world, close to heaven. It was a very special experience. The salt flats themselves were other-worldly; we loved visiting the islands, the local people, the mummies in the cave. Titilaka hotel was an exceptional hotel and we wish we would've had an extra day. Visiting the reed floating islands, learning about the expeditions facilitated by the Aymara and their reed boats was so cool. Bolivian food was simple but well cooked and had awesome fresh vegetables and salads. Peruvian food did not disappoint - we savored every dish at Titilaka and at Central sister restaurant in Lima.
Some things for improvement: my husband is vegetarian (though he will eat fish/ chicken in a pinch) and both Matetic and Alto Atacama had a hard time fully accommodating this. At Matetic, the chef seemed a little flustered when my husband said no fish or chicken, so he ended up saying fish was OK and ate fish for two meals. Alto Atacama had vegetarian options but the menu for lunch and dinner was very limited and the exact same for all three days (only 2 veggie main options and one was plain marinara spaghetti, which was disappointing). As Alto was far from town, it was somewhat burdensome to go to town to eat so we felt stuck with our dining options. Both facilities focused a lot on presentation - the food looked gorgeous on the plates- but not enough on the content and the preparation. The fish was over-cooked at Matetic and undercooked at Alto (I actually got food poisoning from the trout/salmon there for 15 hours- violently sick with diarrhea/ vomiting that took me out of a morning activity. I know this comes with travel but it is exceedingly rare for me. I was happy that it happened on a good day and didn’t mess up our over-all travel plans :) We were also quite disappointed that in the 6 days we had in Chile, we didn’t have one real Chilean dish- it wasn’t offered on the menus! The focus was on western food and artsy plates.
Tipping was stressful at Matetic and Alto. Although I carried $500 from the States, it wasn’t adequate by the end. We had sometimes 2-3 different drivers and 2-3 different guides each day- how do you tip each for half, or less than half, day? The hotels didn’t carry change for us. They were both in remote locations (and our days were filled with activities) so it was hard to find an ATM or bank to get change. We didn’t realize that the restaurants at Matetic were not staffed by the hotel so the idea of tipping at the end of our stay didn’t work. We didn’t pay / tip anything for a lunch one day and the following day the waiter actually asked us to tip (which made us feel terrible since I’m a usually very generous tipper but we didn’t know! and without a bill, how do you figure what the appropriate tip should be?!) I would have loved to have the tips included or an option to pay by CC or a tip jar for everyone at the end. In Bolivia it was easier because we had continuity with guide/ driver and we could tip at then end.
At Alto, there were different guide qualities. We had a couple guides who were excellent and a couple who were a bit lazy. It was an eerie feeling because there were almost no guests (off season, full moon maybe?). We were looking forward to meeting other travelers but found ourselves alone on most tours. We met an awesome Singapore couple who requested a private guide and they were lucky to have the same guide/ driver for three days, while we had different guides/ drivers for all activities because we wanted the group activities (yet there was no group!). We would do some activities in parallel with them (i.e. have 2 big vans for the 2 couples). Just a bit of a weird feeling…
Oh- and I mentioned to our Bolivian guide already but, as you know, obtaining a Bolivian visa for Americans requires many separate documents (if we get it at the border). I screwed up and didn’t have passport copies (you gave us good instructions but I stupidly looked at a website, which did not indicate I needed a passport copy, instead of your email). We paid the guy an extra $20 at the border and all was fine but, in the future, it would be best to have the guide check all the documents in Chile before leaving the hotel because most of the documents are easily obtainable at a hotel with internet access but impossible to get at the checkpoint shack at the top of the mountain :)
Over-all, we had a truly fantastic trip and the inconveniences were minor. We would definitely book with Jacada again!

My Wife and I normally do our own self driving tours around the world but decided to celebrate our 20th anniversary in South America with the help of Jacada travel.
It turned out to be the absolutely correct choice as Jacada produced a fantastic itinerary for us.
We had a blast of a time in Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca and Chile.
Jacada also managed to secure hard to get reservations at the TOP restaurants in the world like Central and Maido.
Every hotel we stayed at was TOP notch and we had private guides with us at EVERY stage of our 18 day holiday, including helping us check into all our hotels plus checking in for ALL our flights.
Yes, the prices are not exactly cheap but for what we got, it was TOTALLY worth it.
Would ABSOLUTELY recommend Jacada if you are looking for a private tour in South America.
