I did much research before choosing Jacada Travel for our trip to Japan. Kate Herz was my contact and she was extremely helpful and a true pleasure to work with. There was a big time difference since I am in the US and she is in London but we managed to get a lot accomplished through emails and we even spoke a few time by phone. I had many things I wanted us to see on our trip and Kate made everything happen. As we got closer to our departure date, we were turned over to Wing Wong and she was just as helpful. Every detail of our trip was excellent. Our guides were fabulous, our hotels were amazing. Highly recommend Jacada Travel.
We could not have wished for a more luxurious or well organized tour. Everything was well thought out as per the information and preferences that we had provided beforehand, from content and highlights of tours that we wanted to do, down to particular wines that we prefer.
The staff in London to the staff in the different countries that we visited were extremely professional and well informed.
All of our tour guides were so knowledgeable and obviously enjoyed their job, and were proud to share information and anecdotes with us.

We had good advice from Jacada Travel in advance of our trip and received good support from them throughout our trip as they facilitated transfers, check-ins and guided tours.
Only negative was arriving at one remote tiny airport 5 hours before our flight with very little to do.
The Jacada team helped me plan my 10th anniversary trip to Chile. From the beginning of the planning process, to end of the trip, I felt I was being looked after by a team of professional planners that had a lot of experience in this field. I especially appreciated the in person visit from Riki Ueda, my travel consultant, who patiently went through the details of the trip time and again with me and wife. As we live in Asia, and have never been to Chile, we had a ton of questions - and all of them were answered in turn. In the end, we went into the trip with a sound piece of mind, and experienced everything we wanted without worrying about the administrative details. Needlessly to say the trip was amazing, and I would definitely look to work with Jacada again on my next exotic vacation.

Anantara Golden Triangle Resort and Elephant Camp - This place was amazing, the staff knew our names as soon as we walked in and always seemed excited to see us. They were fantastic with the kids and the room and overall property were excellent. Then, of course, came the elephant experiences, they far exceeded our expectations. We were up close and personal for almost 2 days. The mahouts and staff genuinely seemed happy to have us around and show off their animals. The riding experience, which included bathing with them, was unbelievable and something my whole family will remember forever. They liked to play with each other and loved all the snacking they got to do when we were around. Truly top notch. I would recommend this Anantara to anyone interested in elephants.
Flight of the Gibbons (zip lining) - This was great! I've done zip lining before but I felt this was even more intense then previous experience in Costa Rico. All the runs were a little different and were great fun. My kids, who love this kind of stuff, thought it was great.
Pilmalai Resort - This was an outstanding property and we had an incredible villa over looking the ocean, low on the mountain, so we had a quick 3 minute walk to the beach. We had an excellent Thai cooking class and Muy Thai training session. Having this at the end of the trip was exactly the relaxing way we needed to conclude such a fantastic trip.
Markets in Bangkok - Also excellent to see how the way of life is there. Overall, we really enjoyed getting out of the cities and seeing market, temples, and overall how people in the area live
Guides - All the guides were great, but I would like to give special acknowledgement to Bam, who was our guide in Chiang Mai. She was excellent, nice, flexible, knowledgable, and overall a very pleasant companion as we journeyed in the area. We really appreciated everything she did with and for us while we were there.
Improvement Opportunities - While the entire trip was great, there was one thing that was a miss.
Planning in Chiang Mia - The original plan for our trip was to arrive in Chiang Mai on a flight scheduled to land at 1:25 and then go zip lining. However, the zip line center was an hour drive from the airport and the last run of the day started at 2:00PM. When we arrived, Bam informed us that we would not be able to go to zip lining that day because we didn't have the time. In reality, there was no possible way to use that flight and make the zip lining event. Jacada should have known this well before the trip started. We could have taken an earlier flight on this day to make it. While we were able to make it up later, we lost a free afternoon (that would have happened on the last day in Chiang Mai). I had planned on and was looking forward to that free afternoon so we could explore Chiang Mai or just relax a little bit. Instead we packed the zip lining and Chiang Mai tour in to that one day.
I wondered whether there was too much detail info in advance, but in view of the complexity of the trip, it was all necessary. The guidance and information provision was extremely helpful.
Just returned from a special anniversary trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with the entire itinerary planned and expertly executed by the marvellous team at Jacada Travel. A very special thanks to Gloria and Keith for organizing the best trip my wife and I have ever taken. The hotels were simply magnificent, particularly the one in Cambodia (Phum Baitang). The guides were far above average, knowledgeable, kind, helpful, understanding and innovative. Our drivers were superb particularly taking into account the difficult driving conditions in the major cities. Everyone was always on time and we never felt rushed. The large tourist crowds were often avoided allowing us a more personal in depth experience. The tours arranged on our behalf were amazing and extremely interesting. Our food requirements were dealt with in expert fashion and several of our dining experiences were unique. There was just the right amount of spare time built into our itinerary as well. Overall the entire experience, start to finish was first class but the special and unexpected touches in honour of our anniversary raised the bar to an entirely new level.
We would have no problem recommending Jacada Travel as the gold star company in personalized travel.

I heard of Jacada travel from a friend who has a friend who loves them. I reached out to them on short notice (Sept for a Nov-Dec trip) and wanted something a little different - to go to a couple different continents in one trip. Katie and Becky were awesome, and worked together to organize a seamless amazing trip for me. They listened to my likes and dislikes, interest and like-to-do's, and where all I wanted to go. Then they got back with me with an epic adventure that perfect. Everywhere I was going, I had never been and I trusted their expertise to pick some awesome experiences.
They nailed it. I had the best holiday in my life, spending a month visiting South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. I loved everywhere I went and all the activities planned. Everywhere I stayed was fabulous, all my guides were wonderful, and the food... well forget about any weight loss, it was so great! They followed up throughout and made sure things were going well. Katie even spent a couple hours on her weekend off to make sure my connecting flight that was cancelled, wasn't an issue. She had another already arranged when I got to the airport.
The entire trip was so personalized and special. I will definitely use Jacada in the future and HIGHLY recommend them to others. They have spoiled me completely. Thank you to Katie, Becky, Amanda, and the whole team at Jacada for making my epic adventure so special and beyond all expectations.
Jacada was great to work with from start to finish. Jacob was very knowledgeable of the countries of interest and Costa Rica, which was our honeymoon destination. We loved being able to have conversations about the areas, available resorts and excursions, what to expect, what we should pack and discuss the excitement of this trip! I would definitely recommend Jacada and hope in the future we can use them again. Travel Excellence was great to work with on-site when we need to leave a hotel early and rebook excursions. I would highly recommend working with them as their service team was polite, quick to respond and super helpful!

The trip was great! My husband and I had super fun and wonderful in Chile trips. We love Chile more than any country we had visited on last Oct.-Nov. and hopefully we will have a chance to visit here again! We miss Chile already! Our Tanzanian Safari was an absolutely amazing experience. Tessa Van der Walt at Jacada flawlessly planned our adventure and it was executed to the highest standard. Tess was always just a phone call or e-mail away during our trip, although we had no reason to contact her other than express how happy we were! The people we met were interesting, wonderfully accommodating and truly invested in our enjoyment of our time in Africa. Each area we visited offered a different environment and we were able to see more animals and birds than we could ever imagine. The reserves and lodges were amazing, and each very different from the other. This allowed us to experience each area we visited a little bit differently, but they were always a seamless blend of luxury and adventure.
I don't often review our travels, but this trip was beyond our wildest expectations and we are already eyeing a return visit!
Iceland adventure was amazing with Jacada arranging everything. If you want to experience more than what every tourist can easily see contact them - you won’t be disappointed. Hanna was fantastic to work with and very knowledgeable. Just an over the top experience from first contact through arriving back home!

They had very good accommodations, tours and suggestions as to how to best spend our time in Australia. They were very accommodating to all requests and changes and all their people were very easy to deal with.
Only area that could have been improved upon was logistics, ie flight times with regard to maximizing times. I would definitely use them Again and highly recommend them.

We chose to travel with Jacada for our Indo-China trip end of October. We had chosen to visit a number of cities throughout Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. The team at Jacada were able to tailor the trip around our requirements and included a number of activities and must-see sights. All the way up to the few weeks before our travel we kept receiving reminders, updates, even a personalized booklet including our photos and the trip information and itinerary which kept us excited and looking forward to our trip. Impeccable attention to detail, truly an amazing experience. I can't wait to book with them again!
We took a trip through SE Asia for 19 days. Everything went off without a hitch. Even though several flights were delayed, our guides were always waiting for us at the airports. Our guides were all exceptional; they were all so knowledgable about every aspect of their area, including history, culture, food, current political climates, architecture and travel to name just a few. The entire trip was well within our budget. We were able to see everything we wanted to see as well as some wonderful additional places that Jacada recommended.
My wife and I decided to go out of the country for the first time in 7 years. We had never been outside the US except for the Caribbean and knew we would need some help planning a vacation because we chose South Africa and this was to be by far the most exotic, remote and foreign vacation we'd ever taken. During our search for a travel agent we stumbled upon Jacada and after researching them and a couple other agents, decided we would entrust Jacada with planning our experience.
Best... Decision... EVER!!
Jacada's ability to truly listen to what we hoped to get out of the trip and bring that exact experience to fruition was astounding. Our accommodations were both intimate and luxurious (beyond our wildest dreams). Our personal guides were as friendly and knowledgeable as we could've hoped for and the planning and execution of our trip went off without a hitch, from the private transfers to the domestic flights to the dinner reservations (well almost, more on that below). We were waited on hand and foot by everyone and were really made to feel important, more so than we deserved.
Where Jacada's true colors really shined were when we encountered our only hiccup of the entire trip. There was a breakdown in communication somewhere with regards to a dinner reservation that Jacada made on our behalf and the restaurant was expecting more people in our party than what showed. The restaurant stuck us with paying for the "absent" parties. Upon notification, Jacada went right to work on resolving the issue and by the end of our trip, they had seen to it that our money was refunded to us. It's hard to imagine another company showing the level of professionalism and responsibility to their clients as Jacada showed us with this unfortunate situation.
If you are looking to take that once-in-a-lifetime vacation and are overwhelmed with the thought of planning it yourself, trust Jacada. They will plan the ultimate vacation for you and there's no doubt that every moment of the trip will surpass your expectations.
My wife and I will absolutely be using Jacada again in the future, hopefully sooner than later!
From my first e-mail inquiring about a trip, Jacada Travel was nothing but helpful, knowledgeable, dedicated, friendly. From start to finish they helped us create an itinerary that was perfect. We recently went on a 2 weeks IndoChina trip which included (Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos) the hotel selection, the tour guides and even the recommendations were on spot. The itinerary that was designed to us was very good and it met our expectations. They did an excellent job with picking the hotels and doing all internal flight bookings.
Keith who was responsible for our travel design was very responsive and gave us good advise on what to see and where to go.I enjoyed the small welcome notes left in different destinations by Keith and he kept following up on us during our trip to make sure that everything was all right.

We have just returned from travelling to South America ( Galápagos, Santa Cruz Highlands, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Guayaquil, Cuzco, Lima). From the initial contact with Lily to the scheduled follow up call and all the travel between, the experience was beyond expectations. We felt truly cared for and welcomed at every stop with seamless airport pick ups, hotel check ins and guided tours. The accommodations were exceptional, the guides knowledgeable, professional and engaging and the excursions planned excellent and not so rigid that we could not alter them according to our likes or feelings that day. Our trip was completely stress free because of Jacada, allowing us to focus solely on the reason we were there and to return home with memories to cherish.
