From the beginning when we were quoted in Canadian not US funds to the end when the Jacana representative met us at the airport for a 2 minute walk to our shuttle "unexpectedly" the service was perfect.

The Jacada team both in London and on the ground demonstrated a great knowledge of locations, venues, local customs and ways of operating. They looked after all the essential details, all of which went without a hitch and added a few surprise personal touches which enriched our experience. The recommended venues exceeded our expectations.
We recently traveled to London and Croatia and used Jacada to plan our trip. We had a relatively short time period to travel and wanted to take advantage of every day. We gave Jacada our preferences and let them run with it. We could not have been happier with their recommendations. The hotels, tours and restaurants were excellent and the attention to detail was impressive. Our agent Murray really did a great job putting together a fantastic itinerary. He clearly listened to our interests. Everyone we came into contact with was professional and most importantly, they seemed to enjoy what they were doing. The drivers, tour guides and hotel staff were friendly and really wanted us to enjoy our vacation.

Our experience with Jacada Travel was impressive from the start. Jen, our travel design agent for Latin America, worked with us to create a magical itinerary in Machu Picchu and Galapagos Islands. We worked together on a time frame, our interests as a family and our budget. Everything was spot on from our accommodations to our adventures. Before departing we were given a detailed itinerary, along with a beautiful picture book highlighting what we could expect on our trip. The people we worked with on the ground couldn't have been more welcoming. Our personal travel guide in Peru, Max, became like family. His love and passion for his country radiated into our experience. We were well looked after at every step of the way. Security, ease and our happiness seemed to be the top priorities. Our tours and travels in both countries, Peru and Ecuador, were smooth and safe. We were greeted with special notes and surprises from Jacada along the way. There were check in calls to make sure everything was going well and that we were pleased with our journey.
My family and I would highly recommend working with Jacada Travel in Latin America. I hope that we have the opportunity to book another adventure with them in the future.

Great trip! This is our second large group (23 people) trip hosted by Jacada. Both exhilarating and relaxing...it's amazing what we could do in 36 hours just outside of Lima. Looking forward to next year's adventure!
Our family trip to Lisbon & Barcelona during Easter has became one of the most memorable holiday for us. Thanks to Heather and Kit from Jacada Travel. They planned our trip to perfection. This is the first time that we can really sit back and relax through out the trip while having my two kids with us.
The hotels and restaurants they recommended were wonderful. Our guides were knowledgeable and yet could keep the interest of the kids. The drivers were polite and safe.
We have different activities and sight-seeing everyday. The highlights were Flamenco dance and chocolate workshop. Before we went there, we didn’t have much expectation. However, we were so happy during and even after the classes that I was wondering the tutors must have some magic to motivate us.
Lastly, thank you Heather and Kit again for organising such a wonderful trip for us. We felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the journey. This is the second time I work with Jacada to plan our trip. I have no reservations to recommend Jacada to other friends who are looking for a bespoke holiday.

I am a returning customer. First time around, they blew my mind. Second time, did not disappoint. This time, we went to Tokyo and worked with Keith and Wing. We didn't give them very much time to make arrangements, but somehow they pulled it together. There were some minor issues with communication, but after we identified the issue, we worked through it. I felt that Keith and Wing did everything they could for us.
Keith was our initial point of contact. He helped us with the agenda, booking the majority of the trip. He kept us updated as much as possible. He was very kind and easy to work with. I felt like he moved mountains for us. We didn't make it easy for him, but he was a trooper and he basically made all our wishes come true. He was sick during some period, but somehow, he got our trip booked for us and made our time in Japan truly amazing.
Wing was our concierge in Japan. It took her a few days to respond, but I think that's because she was working on her end and waiting for an update on her side. It didn't really bother me, but just FYI for any future customer. She booked all the restaurants we requested and provided alternatives if it didn't work out.
The recommendations they provide are luxurious and WOW...AMAZING. They suggested the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo and I highly suggest going there if you are thinking about it. Also, Jacada usually sends a "travel kit" few days before our trip and it is very handy! I always look forward to the kit because it's well-constructed, high quality, and extremely cute! The kit has important phone numbers and includes cultural norms, such as tipping and gifting. The information in this kit is extremely helpful!
Honestly, I am stuck on Jacada. I am excited to use them again in the future.

My son and I have taken two wonderful trips with Jacada. One to Peru and more recently to Japan (March 2019). I was a little nervous heading to a country where I don’t speak or understand the language at all but that was not a problem with the high level of detail set forth in our itinerary.
A representative was there to meet us as soon as we landed. We had the most amazing and knowledgeable tour guides, complete with expert drivers. The tour guides were flexible and focused on making sure we were happy and doing things of interest to us.
The hotels were perfectly situated and the service was outstanding. The concierges were amazing at making and changing dinner reservations. The meals at the hotel were wonderful too.
I am definitely going with the tried and true company of Jacada the next time I head out to explore another part of the world. I have full confidence in knowing that I will see and do everything I want and that every detail will be attended to. I highly recommend Jacada. Happy travels.

My trip to Argentina with Jacada Travel exceeded my expectations for a comfortable, hassle free vacation. There was no point at which I ever felt without someone from the travel group to guide me, answer my questions or to show me interesting, off the beaten track locations in both Buneos Aires or Mendoza. My meals with the two guides in both places were memorable. In Mendoza, the guide stopped his truck and picked some figs from a road side tree - a grace moment. Jacada even provided an opening night opera ticket for me at the Teatro Colon. I highly recommend Jacada Travel and would happily use their services again.
Domenico Iaccarino was our driver and tour guide in Rome. We could not have enjoyed the experience more. Dom is very knowable, informative, personable and very funny. We would like to thank him, his company and Bruce Gabel of Sterling Expeditions for a fantastic trip.

I used jacada for the first time and now I’m spoilt. My travel designer Jess, planned the perfect solo trip based on what I wanted. The service I got before, during and after my trip was excellent. I had the best guide in Slovenia. If it wasn’t for her, I’d be for one, lost in the beautiful hills of Triglav national park. I’d also have no clue of all the stories and history of the things I was looking at. I highly recommend my travel designer, Jess, and my guide Mateja to anyone planning a trip to Slovenia.
We just returned from a 14 day trip to Vietnam. We traveled from Hanoi to Hue, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. The pick-ups and transfers were seamless. Our hotels were outstanding at every destination. We loved the entire trip and very much appreciated how responsive and responsible Jacada was in the pre-planning and during the trip. I would highly recommend them!
From our first contact with Riki Ueda, our consultant, through to the end of the trip, we felt very valued as customers of Jacada Travel. Our trip was for a special occasion but we knew very little about the countries we were going to visit; add in mobility problems and we really need specialist advice.
Riki spoke to me for about 30 minutes to get a feel for our interests and attitudes so that she could put together a proposed itinerary. After further discussion, the itinerary was agreed. It was perfect. The hotels were spectacular; the trips were excellent; there was enough down time; and the quality of the local guides was superb.
There was one hiccup (quite a large hiccup and totally my fault) which occurred on a Saturday just as business was closing in Vietnam. We called the emergency number and our itinerary was rearranged to our satisfaction and relief within 90 minutes. I was already impressed with Jacada's service when everything was running smoothly, I was even more impressed after this.
I cannot recommend Jacada Travel highly enough. I am looking forward to using them again.
Our trip involved traveling to five different camps in Kenya and Tanzania, with multiple flights. Everything went perfectly. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

We used Jacada for our honeymoon to Malaysia and they exceeded our expectations. All of our accommodations were excellent and even had a little surprise waiting for us in our room at each stop. How do I put into words a trip of a life time? I don’t say this lightly as I have traveled the world and been fortunate to experience many awe inspiring moments.
How did it all begin? My 34 year-old son, Anthony wanted to go to Nepal and asked me to come along to celebrate my 60th birthday. Nepal would not have been my choice. Thank God my son is more intelligent than I.
Anthony chose Jacada to put together a 10-day tour which included a four-day trek up Poon Hill, tours of Katmandu, a helicopter ride to Mt Everest’s base camp, and a two night stay at Chitwan National Park.
From start to finish we were handled with the utmost care. Professional guides that shared moments of wonder (a Bengal Tiger sighting, crystal clear sunrise on the top of Poon Hill, the celebration of Holi in Pukhara, picture perfect morning at base camp, tours of ancient temples) that left us feeling deeply connected… a new Nepalese family! I still cry when I look at my photographs.
The memories my son and I have from our time in Nepal will last forever in our hearts. Another bond that was created as a mother and child and we can’t thank Jacada enough for making it happen.
Recently, my wife and I travelled to New Zealand and Australia for a seven (7) week holiday. We utilized the services of Jacada Travel for the first time and we are extremely pleased with our decision. We found their staff to be well trained, informative and helpful. Our travel advisor, Jane Dumble was great. The information packages the concierge team provided were first rate and complete making it easy to know where we were to be and when. Everything went off as planned making the holiday stress free.
Even when weather created a problem with a washed out road and bridge prevention us from going to the Franz Joseph Glacier, their local tour operator, Christina, had us rescheduled in new bed and breakfast locations and a new route quickly and efficiently> It would have been a major headache without her help.

We were always looked after upon arrival to all of destinations within Thailand and Cambodia, never left to wonder what we were to do or where to go because someone was always waiting to guide us through.
The itinerary was tailored to us, and we had adventures and life experiences that we would have never even known existed if it weren’t for the contacts Jacada has with the local people.
We felt safe in every situation and totally relaxed and enjoyed every minute of our vacation.
We are now looking at booking a trip to Africa in the next couple of years, and Jacada will be who we book with.

Jacada and Jane D did a fabulous job of arranging a 3 week trip to Australia for my wife and I. We spent time in the following areas: Melbourne, the Yarra/King Valley/Nagambie areas wine touring+tasting, hiking in the mountains of Tasmania, enjoying the Freycinet area of Tasmania as well as Hobart + its environs, and finally Sydney....all the logistics per hotels, transportation, guides, etc worked out perfectly and our experiences were terrific. We have taken two trips with Jacada - to Peru and, recently, Sri Lanka. Jacada does an excellent job in trip planning and delivers extraordinary results on the ground: destinations, accommodations, meals, guides - all top of the line. I booked with Jacada because of the professional service I experienced from travel planner, Jobi, during the initial phase of planning/customizing the private tour itinerary we wished for. She was patient and was very prompt in replying to our email queries. Because first impressions matter to us, our group (party of 4) decided to choose Jacada.
The Jacada service from the planning phase, pre-departure (with jessie and bern) and actual trip with our professional and accommodating guides, was generally a very pleasant experience. Shout-out and warm thanks to Julio (cusco guide), Ginny (buenos aires guide), Natalia (el calafate guide) and Marcelo (rio de janeiro guide).
To top it all, we were even treated with a few surprise experiences and thoughtful souvenir gifts from Jacada and their partner agencies during our trip which we sincerely appreciated and enjoyed.
I just find it noteworthy to include in this review that we had an unfortunate incident during the first day of our trip in Lima, as Miguel, our enigma city tour guide did not show up for our tour in the morning. Only to find out later that he picked up the wrong people in our hotel for his service which he only realized when he was halfway delivering the tour.
We were very disappointed about this incident, since we woke up early for the tour despite lack of sleep from our travel. We were then instead rescheduled for the tour in the afternoon so we sadly did not experience watching the sunset and view at the Miraflores malecon, which we initially intended to do. On a positive note, Miguel turned out to be very interactive and humorous, so we enjoyed his company all throughout the tour and later thought our short time with him was well worth it.
Also, the enigma outdoor picnic lunch at the Sacred Valley was another activity that did not meet our expectations because the tiny folding chairs provided were uncomfortable to sit on. There was more than enough food prepared- However, the taste of the food was not exceptional, but was ok for 4 hungry fellows at that time. Also, they could have chosen a location that did not have muddy surroundings and had at least stable flat ground for the comfortable set-up of table and chairs.
Apart from these two mishaps, we were definitely taken well care of, pampered to the fullest (from arrival at the airport to airport pre-departure check in assistance) and our little requests for flexibility in our itinerary were well sorted out by the guides.
