We chose Jacada Travel to plan our second safari trip to Africa. We wanted a private safari experience on our terms! We had two major goals: see the mountain gorillas of Rwanda and check off the rhino from our Big Five list. We put Jonny Humphries to work on the itinerary, and he knocked it out of the park. Jacada had excellent ideas about what we should do, and all their recommendations were spot-on. We were met by cheerful, helpful greeters at each airport and each transfer point. Having someone meet us at all these places really relieves the stress. Our guides in Kenya and Rwanda were top-notch. Our accommodations were all five-star. We were always wistful when we left a hotel because we were always having a good time. Then we would get to the next place and be equally impressed and excited about the new place. Everything went off without a hitch. Jacada is first-class all the way.
Wonderful service for airport pickup (our flight was delayed 12 hrs and ultimately changed to a different flight number but they were still there to pick us up!)

Hotel selection was mixed (some were amazing, others missed the mark) and pre-departure packing list and detailed itinerary could have been communicated better.
Overall a great experience. Accommodations were top notch. Guides were excellent. Meals served during the safari were amazing. I especially thought it was wonderful for our guides to setup breakfast or lunch by a river bank or under the trees with a great view of the animals roaming in the park... just missing a few minor details that could have elevated it to 5 stars. Received our travel packet after we arrived from the trip. A slight faux pas considering we booked the trip a year in advance. A month after we booked our trip, we were asked what our favorite drink was, as well as, a picture of the group....still not sure what that was for. A travel phone app that detailed our daily itinerary would be a nice touch.
This was our second trip with Jacada and both have been amazing experiences. The staff was so accommodating especially when Alex had to comb all of Edinburgh to change our restaurant reservations.
We were especially thrilled with our guide, Ross. He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I would recommend him to anyone traveling to Scotland
We’re very experienced travelers but this was our first time in Iceland. Jacada and their Icelandic affiliate delivered a fantastic 5 day experience. Our guide Siggi was among the best we have had on any trip. As a mountaineer he read the weather in exceptional ways and redesigned our itinerary on the fly to minimize the impact of the wind and the rain. He was personable and informed.
We chose to not go ultra luxury in hotels. It was a good trade off since we spent long days with experiences as long as the daylight lasted.
Overall, smiles all day every day! Kudos to Jacada and Siggi for a job exceptionally well done.

Yet another fantastic family vacation arranged by Jacada. Susann and Berni did an excellent job tailoring local experiences to our personal preferences - everything went very smoothly and provided us valuable insights into the country and culture in an extremely enjoyable fashion. Natalia and other guides on the ground were wonderful local hosts for us as well. We will not hesitate to book more international travel with the Jacada team.
The trip was superb!! We were well taken care of and the guides were all expert in their fields and were very passionate. Hotels were also very pleasant and the restaurants were amazing. Would totally recommend Jacada to my friends and family.
Many activities, first & third hotels very good, Vik ok but dinner quite good. Overall food unexpectedly wonderful in Iceland. Overall first hotel the best. Our guide, Pietr, made this trip amazing. Immediately I felt he was looking after us, very quickly felt totally comfortable. He added extra stops & was totally patient plus concerned about my interests & my sister’s interests which differed at times.
We could not have asked for a better service, from the the preliminary planning through the actual trip.We were able, during the trip, to contact a representative at any hour to make modifications to the itinerary. We will definitely retain Jacada Travel for our future trips.
The whole trip was well planned, advised and executed. From arrival to final departure, we were well taken care off. All hotels were unique and first class. Guides and drivers were all proffessional and passionate of what they do. An excellent expereince.

The only issue I had was that the travel pack arrived in the mail after we left the country despite having booked this trip over a year in advance. Otherwise, the overall experience was excellent!

We have used Jacada Travel for 3 epic trips to Africa over the past 5 years. For each trip, Byron arranged an itinerary that met our desires and with the least amount of travel time between lodges. All of the lodges, game drives, flights, transfers, etc. were 5-star! Byron and his team kept us informed about the trip from the beginning of booking all the way through to the end including some nice notes along the way. We will certainly be using Jacada Travel for future travel, in Africa and elsewhere.

I just returned from a fabulous trip to Iceland (Aug. 2019). Jacada put together an amazing itinerary and provided me with guides who were exceptional. I traveled with my sister and, though our interests were different at times, our guides - especially Petur - managed to satisfy us both. From start to finish, including the preparation that Jacada helped us with pre-trip, we couldn't be more appreciative. This trip turned out so well that I fully intend to recommend Jacada to others. What we saw and experienced has given us memories that will last for a lifetime.

Sarah during the planning phase and Gilda as the regional concierge were fantastic. We did a two week trip to Vietnam and Thailand that was planned in under one week with only three weeks before the trip so needless to say it was very fast timing. Despite the quick turnaround, no detail was missed. The hands on service, local guides, drivers, etc were all top notch. I typically plan my own trips but now understand the value of a great travel designer!

A family holiday in London - a popular place to go. I did not fancy anything exotic before the trip. But once again, Jacada made what looked ordinary so special.
Heather, Kit, the team of Jacada had put so much effort to make our journey so special. They looked into every details and everything was seamlessly arranged. All the tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had two small kids 6 and 10 y.o. They just knew how to keep them interested.
The highlight of our trip was a family photo shoots arranged by Jacada for us as a "gift". What a surprise! Our photographers were very professional. They spent the whole day with us in Cotswold. We ended up being very good friends. We shared jokes and smiles all day. All our sweet memories were imprinted on the photos.
The scone baking class was also very interesting. Now we know the tricks to make good scones at home. During the class, we also learnt some history and etiquette of English High tea.
We all have a very good time in London. Heartfelt thanks to Jacada!
Our trip was perfectly planned for our family's interests and requirements. The scheduling was seamless, never rushed and always relaxed. The guides were very personable, knowledgeable and fluid with our schedule. We will definitely use Jacada Travel again.
Our trip to Vietnam adventure was spectacular. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation from accommodations to activities, everything was really quite thoughtful and at the highest level of professionalism.

Inside the volcano tour was something not to be missed. It is expensive but well worth it. You do have to be able to hike 2 miles to the volcano entrance. You are able to go at your own pace however. There are no finished roads to access that area This is definitely a vacation for people that are very mobile.
Hiking boots and a very good windbreaker/rain coat is essential!
Forewarning, The wind in Iceland is pretty substantial! There is definitely a need for many layers to keep you warm.
Our guide/driver for the week, Sven, made sure everything ran smoothly and was very flexible with our schedule. Everyone in the family agreed that he is the one that made the trip special!
If it all possible, I would highly recommend getting an Icelandic guide to really learn about every aspect of Iceland!
The boys family favorite was the ATV in South Iceland. It was fun but an extremely bumpy ride. What made it special was the different terrain in that area. You’re ride on the black sand beach with a glacier and mountains in the background. You go through streams and into hidden alcoves.

You were given suits and helmets to wear so you were warm.

Jacada planned a 9 trip to Greece for our party of 6. They did a wonderful job attending to every detail- the hotels were all exceptional , the guides were knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. The transportation vehicles were always clean and the drivers provided with fresh cold bottles of water available when needed ( as the temperatures remained in the high 90 range - this was a very nice gesture) The tours and excursions were meticulously planned and executed with much thought going into what are interests were and exceeding all expectations. Overall I would highly recommend Jacada Travel for any destination that they serve.

We booked a 12-day custom trip to Peru with Jacada and they did a fantastic job! We were a party of three and got to ride around Peru in comfortable minivans with skilled drivers and very knowledgeable guides. Everybody was always on time and took care of all our needs and answered all our questions. Our special dietary requirements were also always considered. Their knowledge of how to best travel in various areas was especially valuable. For example, they booked two visits to Machu Picchu for us. The first one was an afternoon visit with our guide and the weather ended up being fantastic. The second one was on our own the next morning when it was cloudy and raining, so we got to experience the site in a different atmosphere. Had that been our only visit, however, it would have been disappointing because the visibility was bad. Similarly, we were interested in seeing the Rainbow Mountain but they advised us to visit the Palcoyo instead, which is just as beautiful, not as crowded and not as punishing to hike at that high altitude. So I highly recommend Jacada and I would travel with them again!

The trip was really good, I would have liked a little more guidance on what to do. Also we were told some wrong information (we could go shoeless for white water rafting) and had to wear normal shoes which was a pain to carry and wash afterwards. Also our last place was right near an airport, but they had us drive 3 hours to a farther one and we got there 4 hours early.
We had high expectations and honestly we were shocked by how perfectly this holiday was organised in the most minute detail by Jacada. Absolutely amazing and of course we will use you guys again! Thank you

Jacada Travel was very easy to work with before our trip to mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. They helped us pick destinations that exactly matched our interests and abilities (my 81 year old mother was traveling with us and while she is still very active, there are some things that she just shouldn't try to do anymore). Because everything was so well-prepared for us there was no need to contact them at all during our time in Ecuador. Their local representatives (from Jacada, their partner company Metropolitan Touring, and Haugan Cruises) were always ready for us when we arrived with all details in place. Our local guides and naturalists were all amazing and friendly. I will definitely work with them again the next time I am planning a trip with my family.

My family and I just came back from an incredible time in Peru's Sacred Valley and Lake Titicaca. Everything was spotless, from the beginning to the end. It was our first time working with Jacada. We can't see ourselves working with any other travel agency in the future.
I tried Jacada quite out of the blue, having found them online because my regular travel agent did not cover Switzerland. As with many global travel companies, the services do not come cheap, but I found the value added well worthwhile. Some of the experiences that were included in my itinerary truly made for unforgettable moments during the trip.

Em Hunter and her crew had everything in ship shape for us. We usually do our own planning, so I know what goes into planning a sucsessful trip. I also know what can go wrong no matter how well you prepare. All in all, Jacada has the resources and acumen to give you a trip you won’t forget! My husband, 8 year old son and I, were planning a trip. My husband, being the trip planner and always planning amazing vacations, got in touch with Jacob, from Jacada Travel, to plan our trip to Peru. From day 1, contacting Jacob until the days after our arrival, it has been exceptional. Jacob was very attentive, caring and involved to figure out our wants and needs, for our family adventure.
