Camp Cecil is an award-winning glamping site on Espiritu Santo Island outside of La Paz. Owned and run by unwavering nature lovers, this authentic eco site offers the opportunity to become immersed in nature, the ocean and be wonderfully secluded. Each camp guest has their own luxury tent, complete with a bed, comfortable finishings and of course the ocean right at your feet. The camp team cooks healthy and sustainable meals and a resident naturalist can share everything they know about this remarkable island and its fauna and flora. Camp Cecil is a seasonal leave no trace camp including eco amenities such as solar warmed showers. This is the perfect spot from which you can dive with whale sharks and sea lions.
Supporting the local environment
As a part of TOSEA (Todos Santos Eco Adventures), Camp Cecil are committed to the health and well-being of the local environment. Among other actions, they have eliminated single-use plastics in their business and procurement practices, and they are working towards becoming carbon neutral. They are members of the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund and their nominated project, Desplastifícate Todos Santos y Pescadero, won a grant in 2018 to help eliminate single-use plastics and styrofoam in their community.

For Camp Cecil, the local environment covers not only the local ecosystems, but the people and businesses of Baja California Sur as well. They work closely with and support local individuals and businesses, including the local fishing cooperatives along the Pacific coastline, the ranchers and burreros of the Sierra La Laguna mountains, local and independent adventure professionals, and locally owned and operated art galleries, shops, restaurants, hotels, and nonprofit organisations working for the betterment of the local community. They are proud sponsors of the Todos Santos Music Festival, the GastroVino Festival, the Todos Santos Film Festival, as well as local boxing, cycling, soccer and baseball clubs.
