    Joali

    A slice of island life

White sand beaches and brilliant blue water

Set on Muravandhoo Island in northern Maldives, Joali is a beautiful resort with white sand beaches and brilliant blue waters. Here you’ll find plenty of fruitful coconut palms and exquisite marine life waiting to be discovered. The resort boasts beach, water and family villas, all individually decorated. Think private beach gardens; stunning ocean or garden views; spacious sundecks and private pools.

There are four restaurants and several bars to make sure you’re well-fed and refreshed. At Vandhoo Restaurant you can enjoy Southeast Asian, Chinese, Mediterranean and Levant flavours. They also offer themed dinners and immersive experiential dining. At Her Kitchen you can cook and enjoy local recipes with experienced chefs. Japanese restaurant Soake offers incredible views and delectable food, and Bellinis boasts Italian fine dining.

Joali’s Reef Restoration Programme uses a two-step gardening concept to grow corals in a mid-water nursery fore nine to 12 months before planting them back onto the reef. This is one of the ways they are helping to restore the damage that was done by the devastating coral bleaching catastrophe of 2016 which saw about 85% of the Maldives’ coral die.
