Maldives
Amilla Fushi

Amilla Fushi translates as ‘my island home’ and this luxurious resort certainly has everything you need to feel like you’re visiting a home away from home.
Located in the Baa Atoll, one of the 26 natural atolls in the Indian Ocean, Amilla Fushi consists of 59 over-water villas, beach houses and treehouses. Those who choose to stay over water will enjoy incredible views over the reef, and will also have their own private plunge pool as well. Villas located on the island’s interior are surrounded by lush greenery and have a private courtyard with swinging hammocks as well as private pool. There are also larger residences that sleep groups of up to eight.
When it comes to eating and drinking, you’re spoiled for choice. The resort’s signature restaurant, Feeling Koi, is perched above the sparkling water and serves modern Japanese cuisine. There is also the option to enjoy destination dining, where you can choose to dine in private on the sandbank or in the gardens.
Being surrounded by the Indian Ocean, getting out and exploring is top of most people’s list. There are numerous water sports on offer from snorkelling and diving to marine biology programmes. Back at the resort there are tennis courts, a kids’ club and a spa.
