At Jacada, one of our favourite things to do is helping people plan the perfect surprise trip for their loved ones - after all, the best kind of travel gift is the trip itself. We will happily work with you to discreetly plan and book an amazing dream holiday for that special someone, making sure that the secret is kept every step of the way. Whether you want to surprise your wife on your 50th wedding anniversary or give your dad that special trip he’s always dreamed of, we’ll be there every step of the way, helping you navigate the often tricky process of keeping the trip secret.
How it works
From the beginning, you’ll be working with one of our expert travel designers who will advise you every step of the way. Think of us as your well-travelled friend – someone who knows the area inside and out and who will listen to you, advise you and help you plan every detail of your trip. We’ll use our local knowledge and insider contacts to help with those special little touches as well – from getting you a reservation at the perfect restaurant or finding a quiet spot to enjoy a moment where you’ll feel like the only two people on earth.
It's all about the personal touches
For us, it’s the little things that make the biggest difference to your trip. We love learning about you, and as we get to know you throughout the planning process, we make sure to find out what you and your travelling companions really love. Whether it’s enjoying your favourite cocktail while peering out over a glacier in Iceland or hearing your first dance song play in your hotel room when you enter it for the first time, we’ll do what we can to give you that personal touch throughout your trip.
We love a challenge
No challenge is too great or small. For example, we once planned a two-month adventure to Latin America where our traveller planned to propose at the end – but not without a challenge for us. Every day was supposed to be a complete surprise to his future fiance, so we worked with all of the guides and hotels to keep the itinerary a secret for the entirety of their trip – no easy feat when done over two months!

We’re also big fans of helping you plan the big reveal, which is one of the most fun and important parts of the process. We love helping with the little details – personalising not only the trip, but how it is presented as a gift. That moment of revelation is crucial to setting the tone of the trip to come!

A surprise birthday trip
A few years ago, Rod got in touch with us to plan a secret birthday and wedding anniversary trip for his wife Debbie. Over the course of a year, we worked together with him to plan her perfect trip (hiking in Patagonia – a lifelong dream), which he presented to her on a hike on Valentine’s Day.
Even more challenging was the fact that Rod had to set up a secret email address and bank accounts to pay for the trip without her knowing, but we were able to work with him and help him with every single one of his requests to plan Debbie’s dream trip in complete secrecy – no easy feat these days!
