    Park Hotel Vitznau

    Fairy tale luxury

The Park Hotel Vitznau first opened its doors in 1903 and was frequented by numerous artists and actors. Over a century later and the hotel has lost none of its charm. Set on the shores of the Lake Lucerne with the Swiss Alps looming in the background, it enjoys an idyllic location and is just a 40-minute drive from the city of Lucerne itself.

The hotel’s corridoors have been designed as galleries and the 47 rooms and suites are themed accordingly. Head to the music, wine or theatre gallery and settle into the Josefstadt Theatre, Bordeuax or Vienna Philarmonic residences or bed down in the Yale, Harvard or Stanford suite in the top-floor endowment gallery.

Guests are spoiled for choice when it comes to eating and drinking, with two fine dining restaurants, with one and two Michelin stars respectively. Savour the exquisite creations of Chef Christian Nickel at Restaurant PRISMA, taking in the 180° view from the glass pavilion. The hotel’s main restaurant is a dining tour de force, with Chef Nenad Mlinarevic, one of the youngest recipients to win Gault Millaud Chef of the Year award, at the helm. Both offer creatice, contemporary menus and dishes are exceptionally presented.

When you want to simply drift away, take a dip in the heated outdoor infinity pool, relax in the Finnish sauna or indulge in a spa treatment.
