The One Palácio da Anunciada

A refined and luxurious stay in a restored 16th century palace
Enjoy a stay fit for royalty at The One Palacio Anunciada, a tastefully restored 16th century place that now serves as a 5-star hotel in Lisbon. Featuring many original and historic features, stepping inside is akin to stepping back in time, but with modern luxury amenities that elevate your stay with added comfort and convenience. Glide down gilded marble hallways framed by intricately decorated ceilings to reach the interior courtyard with its central fountain and 100 year old Dragon tree, a haven of serenity amongst the buzz of Lisbon city centre.
The hotel’s 83 rooms have a gentle colour scheme characterised by bleached wood, neutral furnishings and blue and white hand-painted ceramics. While away the hours people watching from the cosy window seats, or relaxing in the large freestanding bathtubs.
Breakfast can be enjoyed either inside or on the terrace, and with a vast array of dishes made fresh to order, you’ll be spoilt for choice. By night, dine like royalty at the Condes de Ericeira restaurant, set within one of the palace’s grand halls. A hand-painted frescoed ceiling and direct garden access make it an elegant space to dine, while the menu spotlights Portuguese market fare and Mediterranean inspired flavours. Meanwhile, the O Jardim wine bar serves light bites and tapas washed down with Portuguese wines and well-crafted cocktails.
Relax at the hotel’s luxurious spa, a quiet haven with a tailored menu of treatments using Naturbisse products. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool to enjoy, the latter coming with the added bonus of views over Lisbon’s rooftops. Beyond the hotel, you’ll find the city on your doorstep – the Avenida da Liberdade, perfect for shopping, is right nearby, as is Rossio Square.
