Hotel Casadelmar

Minimalist luxury with sea-view terraces and refined architecture
Perched on a Porto-Vecchio hillside, Hotel Casadelmar overlooks the Mediterranean from every vantage. The 34 rooms and suites, and one private villa, all open onto terraces with panoramic sea views. Designed by architect Jean-François Bodin, interiors incorporate light wood, white walls and grey stone flooring with sea-blue accents and glass to bring the Corsica landscape inside.
Outside, terraced gardens designed by landscape architect Jean Mus are filled with local flora – olive trees, Florence cypresses, myrtle and everlasting flowers. A long outdoor pool overlooks the gardens, with views down to the sea and across the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio.
At the hotel’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant, chef Fabio Bragagnolo crafts seafood-forward menus with heavy splashes of local flavour – think spiny lobster with Catalan sauce and cuttlefish risotto.
At the spa, by myBlend, tailored treatments incorporate essential oils from Corsican plants grown in Casadelmar’s garden, including everlasting flowers, lavender, sage, rosemary and thyme. The spa’s tranquil setting is imbued with dark wood, Japanese fabrics and Medici marble.
