Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park has stood on the edge of London’s Hyde Park since 1889, with the park on one side and Knightsbridge on the other. The hotel’s interiors were concepualised by award-winning designer Joyce Wang, who drew inspiration from the building’s royal heritage, the golden age of travel and Hyde Park itself. Art Deco details, carefully curated artworks, bespoke leather-topped desks, custom onyx chandeliers and Volakas marble bathrooms feature throughout, while rooms look across Hyde Park, Knightsbridge or the hotel’s courtyard.

The dining headline is two-Michelin-starred Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, which explores historic British recipes through dishes inspired by centuries-old cookbooks. At The Aubrey, Japanese izakaya cooking is paired with cocktails in a late-night setting, while The Rosebery serves an award-winning afternoon tea with a choice of 29 loose-leaf teas, seasonal pastries and freshly baked scones. Mandarin Bar offers a designer cocktail menu throughout the day.

Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park’s spa has 13 treatment rooms, an Oriental Spa Suite with Rasul water temple, a Traditional Chinese Medicine room and a Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio. The heat and water circuit includes an amethyst crystal steam room, vitality pool and Zen Colour Therapy relaxation area, plus a 17-metre twin-lane swimming pool, fitness centre and movement studio.
