Wanaka Haven

Surrounded by mountain, tranquil lakes and fresh country air, Wanaka Haven is the perfect place to call home when you’re visiting New Zealand’s South Island. The five rooms are modern and comfortable with soft and light fabrics, complemented by bright art. They each have their own en-suite bathroom, either with a shower or shower and bath, and with geo-thermal under floor heating.

In the main lodge itself, you’ll find a dining room with fireplace, library and outdoor area with a stone fireplace, dining table and barbecue, and outdoor swimming pool. Guests also have access to the hotel’s private connoisseurs’ wine and beer collection.

There are mountain bikes to hire so you can get out and about and explore the surrounding area, and on your return you can relax with a cup of coffee and some of the lodge’s home baking. There are a variety of walking and cycling tracks beginning near the property. Venture a little further and you’ll find a wealth of outdoor activities to keep you busy, from golf and fishing, to skiing and boating.
