Little under a kilometre from the Imperial City of Hue, along the banks of the Perfume River, Ancient Hue Garden Houses is located in the historic village of Kim Long. This well-preserved village is a former residential area of the high mandarins and members of the royal family. Nestled among the green trees, the Ancient Hue Garden Houses are a unique relic of the Mandarin lifestyle that can only be found in Hue.
There are five luxuriously appointed private houses – with either one or two bedrooms – bordering the landscaped garden around the pool. The decor features wood carvings, feudal architecture and traditional folk colours, designed to blend harmoniously with the surroundings. Built according to feng shui principles, each elegant room contains historic artefacts, paintings and private terraces looking out onto the lush garden.
For those wishing to dine in style, the in-house restaurant, Kim Long, offers a unique fine dining experience. Taste local Vietnamese delicacies with both Asian and European flavours, designed to emulate a modern-day version of the royal feasts enjoyed by Vietnamese nobles. The in-house spa also offers the ultimate pampering experience while the outdoor pool is the perfect place to wind down.
