Rosenhof Country House

Situated on the outskirts of town en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms, Rosenhof Country House in Oudtshoorn consists of a Victorian manor, twelve freestanding bedrooms and two executive pool suites.

The carefully renovated homestead (circa 1852), with its yellow wood beams and ceilings and a tasteful collection of antique furniture, exudes an aura of authenticity.

The lovely rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to stylishly decorated bedrooms, each individually furnished. All rooms provide air-conditioning, satellite television, telephone, mini bar, coffee/tea trays and private digital safe. The en-suite bathrooms have separate bath and shower, heated towel rails, hair dryer and bathrobes. The two Executive Suites each have their own plunge pool, lounge and patio, with tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain.

Rosenhof has a cosy pub and several luxury lounges with fireplaces where visitors can relax. The Smokers Lounge offers free internet access with free Wireless Internet Access throughout the property.

Platinum graded by the South African Tourism Grading Council, the restaurant specializes in traditional country cuisine with a cordon bleu touch, and together with an extensive wine collection, dining at Rosenhof will be an unforgettable experience.
