    This Big Five 14,000-hectare reserve not only delights in its own exclusivity and variety of wildlife but also in being positioned between numerous other wildlife reserves, in particular the coastal UNESCO St Lucia Wetlands on Thanda’s eastern borders.

    So, as you can imagine, the range of activities stretches from bush walks, game drives and Zulu village tours to deep sea fishing, whale watching and diving coral reefs.

    The Thanda reserve is also malaria-free, plus it provides some good kids activities for a truly family-friendly experience.
