    Nature Lodge

A local style eco-lodge next to Amber Mountain National Park

Nature Lodge is a small and exclusive eco-lodge on the doorstep of Amber Mountain National Park. 12 identical and spacious thatched chalets offer endless views of the neighbouring luscious green rainforest which is full of lemurs, or the stunning bay of Diego Suarez.

The nearby forest is home to mango and litchi trees, ensuring a peaceful and tranquil stay in nature. The lodge’s main wooden deck opens up onto a peaceful garden, where you can spot countless chameleons, as well as a breathtaking view of both the Mozambique Channel and the Indian Ocean.

The lodge has one restaurant which offers rather simple, hearty and seasonal fare. You will be offered various delectable meals from fresh and seasonal products from either the lodge’s own vegetable garden, the local market or just out of the sea.

    Miavana

    Diana Region

    Miavana

On the private Nosy Ankao island, sat off the northeastern coast of Madagascar and accessible only by helicopter, Miavana is a true paradise that sets new standards in luxury for the region. Among forests skirted by sand beaches, turquoise bays and reefs, it provides a perfect setting for personalised land and marine adventures. Not only does it protect large sections of land and the ocean, but it also empowers the local community.

14 vast villas line the western side of the island, just a few steps from the beach, for fabulous Indian Ocean sunset views and come with one, two or three bedrooms as well as a kitchenette, lounge, private deck and pool. Muted tones of sand, wood and water are reflected in the modern design alongside local materials and handcrafted pieces.

The main village, or piazza, is the heart of the lodge with its spectacular infinity pool, rooftop bar and three dining settings; a beach pizzeria, lounge and an Italian-inspired grotto and cellar.

Discover the rich waters of the archipelago snorkelling straight from your villa, scuba dive, venture out on whale and dolphin watching cruises, try your hand at deep sea and fly fishing, or perhaps some sailing or jet-skiing. On land, there are a network of walking and running trails, as well as sleepouts and picnics on neighbouring islands. For wildlife enthusiasts, lemurs can be found on the mainland, a 10 minute helicopter flight away, and turtles can be seen nesting between May and mid-July, while humpback whales can be seen in the waters in front of the lodge between July and October.
