Our experience with Jacada was first rate from initial contact throughout our full trip. Our travel designer, Jonathan, offered excellent service and created a perfectly orchestrated package to exceed my family’s expectations. Before the trip, we received professionally created materials sharing our itinerary as well as excellent tips on travel (packing, visas, vaccinations, etc). The trip itself was flawless, we were always with a guide taking care of our every need. Flights, accommodations, and meals were all set - we just got to enjoy stress free. The actual locations chosen were superb and all the staff encountered along the way were kind, effective, and responsive. From start to finish, JACADA, was there to help us pick the right resorts to stay at while we toured Australia. Our representative, Katie Holmes, was extremely helpful and very professional. She kept us updated with our itinerary and answered several questions that we had. The trip went very smoothly, with all of the resorts and hotels of a luxury level. All of our pickups and drop offs were first class and always on time. Katie was there at each of our resorts with nice notes and sometimes gifts that were much appreciated. We were extremely happy with dealing with JACADA and will use them in the future for other trips.

I can not say enough about this company and our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Every detail was taken care of and Keith was able to put a trip together that hit every mark. We did so much more than visit the sights, we met the people and experienced the culture in a way I never dreamed was possible! Keith listened to my vague ideas and created the perfect itinerary - from the cities we visited, to the hotels we in which we stayed, to the variety of experiences we had. This was our first experience with Jacada though we had heard good things about the Company. Our trip to South America included Ecuador and Peru with the highlights being the Galápagos Islands and the Inca Trail. I cannot exaggerate how good Jacada was to us. Every need was taken care off including some we did not even realize we had. For example when we arrived in Lima Jacada surplus with a dinner reservation at one of the best restaurants in the City. All our guides were incredible and seemed to be well versed on us and our travelling style. Every hotel was amazing. Our intra country travel was carefree and perfect. We will definitely use Jacada again. But where too next ????
We had the perfect holiday in Vietnam, all thanks to the brilliant Sarah and Wing from Jacada! It was a special celebration for us and we had the most amazing 12 days. From the minute we started planning the itenarary to the time we said goodbye to our last private guide, everything was perfect! We stayed in superb accommodation, our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, on time and attentive to all our needs. The food tours were incredible, the sight seeing so interesting and we were given a new perspective on the people and cultural heritage of Vietnam! Generally great in the planning process and good at resolving any issues that may come up during the trip. Prices could be cut down significantly though.
In my view, simply the best. We have done 3 trips of one month or greater with Jacada and are in the planning stage for a 4th. I trust them for their execution, creative ideas and advice.

From the first spark of hope in making a family journey to Japan, Jacada actualized a dream come true. Our interests were listened to and woven into our trip at every turn. Authentic experiences were seamlessly organized, with built in rest and open time just when it was needed. We were never left without care and guidance, as at every crossroad in our trip there was a kind, knowledgeable guide who would warmly greet us and stay with us until we were on our way. Because Jacada took care of every detail and anticipated every possible scenario, our family was able to enjoy the immersion without the inevitable stress that arises when navigating a foreign country. Our guides were incredible people who we enjoyed getting to know and learned so much about history, culture, religion, and modern life from. Our children were delighted with a few pop culture experiences we planned which balanced visits to heritage sites and Shrines. Jacada took into consideration our age and interest ranges and delivered a little bit of everything. My husband has been waking up each morning since we got home telling me he misses Japan and is already dreaming about what he wants to do on our next trip there. My 12 year old daughter had the best reaction though on our first morning home, "Mom, can we sell everything and travel the world?"
My husband and I have traveled extensively and I usually book it myself. We decided to go to Chile and I found Jacada Travel. We booked a 24 day private tour through them and they were amazing. They are a top notch company from our concierge team Lily and Berni to our tour guides to the accommodations they chose.
At one point towards the end of our trip my husband threw out his back. With one phone call and a couple of hours later we had flights changed hotels changed and what could have been bad wasn't even a hiccup.
I didn't have to think of a thing except enjoy myself which is a way a vacation should be.
They are the best and I will use them for all my trips.

The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, and we really got along well with all of them. The vehicle provided was top notch and comfortable. Jacada did a good job including the activities/elements we requested. I would definitely consider them for another trip requiring a guide or a lot of logistics.

We had a fantastic experience with Jacada. We did a fabulous, unforgettable trip to India and the Maldives. The planning leading up to the trip was very thorough and I always felt like my questions were answered in a very timely manner. Keith and Gilda did a wonderful job. The trip itself was as close to flawless as it comes. The logistics in India were absolutely streamlined. We were able to fully enjoy each other and the experience without worrying about details. Our guides were incredible, particularly the one in Jaipur. He absolutely blew our minds with his vast knowledge and calm nature. The properties in both destinations were excellent as well. We will be coming back to Jacada and bringing our friends with us!

The experience we have had with Jacada was just amazing. There was not one glitch in the entire adventure and they made our trip one of the best we have ever had in our lives, and we have traveled quite a bit. I highly recommend using them, the planning stage was fabulous, the staff was very patient with me, and I can be quite a handful. After we had decided our next vacation should be a big tour through Africa, I contacted Jacada by mail. Within two days I was called back and shared my key requests with a travel designer. In a short period of time our whole trip through 5 countries and using 5 different top lodges (Kalahari Plains, Nxabega, Matetsi, Bisate and Mnemba Island) including all long haul and connecting flights and the permits for visiting the gorillas in Rwanda was finalised. There was a great build up of wonderful experiences with nature and people throughout our journey. There were only minor things during the preparation and the trip - which I shared with the company directly - that can be improved to move to a 5* rating.
I work 24/7 and my job demands every ounce of energy from me. When I go on holiday, I dont want to be having to handle nitty gritty matters. I just want to rest, relax and recharge. That's why I go to Jacada.

We had an amazing time in Tanzania last November thanks to the efforts of our Jacada Travel consultant, Emily Hunter. Having been to Southern Africa before, we chose Tanzania to experience a new and different part of that amazing continent. Emily's expertise and guidance made our trip incredibly memorable. We explored the Ngorongoro Crater, witnessed the Great Migration in the Serengeti, got up close and personal with the amazing chimpanzees of the Mahale Mountains, and finished with a relaxing beach holiday in Zanzibar. All of our accommodations and guides were first rate. The Crater Lodge was beautiful. Lamai Serengeti was perfectly located to experience the abundant wildlife of the Serengeti. Greystoke in Mahale is an absolutely unique and special place. And, Matemwe Lodge in Zanzibar is stunning and a short boat ride from snorkeling and diving in crystal blue waters. If you are looking for the ultimate safari experience, I strongly recommend Tanzania and all it has to offer. And, certainly I can't recommend strongly enough contacting Emily Hunter at Jacada to plan your trip.
We just returned from our first trip with Jacada, a custom Ecuadorian Highland itinerary focusing on exceptional cloudforest and mountain scenery, biodiversity, unique local ( and historic) boutique accommodations, and lovely cultural experiences. My husband and I are well travelled for over 40 yrs, and I would say that we have had may lovely luxury and scenic itineries, But Jacada was able to provide unexpected and intimate experiences, almost every day that was a step above our previous initeraries. For example, highlights include The biodiversity of a cloud forest up close and personal including a night walk sighting of a rare glass frog, and a sky cycle journey through the cloud forest at tree top level at Mashpi Lodge; we hiked to a fantastic view of an incredible Andean valley that had pre Incan ruins and condors; a private dinner in an Incan Empire temple room that was preserved part of a 1600s Spanish Hacienda San Augustin de Calla ( that we had 3 lit fireplaces in our suite): and last, a chocolate experience from bean to bar where we learned all about the process of growing and making chocolate, including making our own bars.Emily was my representative from Jacada and created an custom intinerary that met or exceeded our expectations, and worked flawlessly with Romanet, the local organizer. The logistics were flawless and our main guide and driver ( Antonio and Carlos), we’re knowledgeable, engaging and flexible.

My husband and I recently visited Argentina for the first time and Emily Opie planned our amazing "white glove" trip for us; every detail was taken care of for us. She recommended hotels that were unique and special, organized guides and excursions that were fantastic and even stayed in touch while we were there to ensure that we were comfortable and happy while traveling. We had never gone through a travel agent before and were beyond pleased with our first experience. My husband and I planned a trip to Patagonia for 10 days with the Jacada team (Emily & Romanet). We were unsure where we wanted to visit given our limited hiking experience and lack of familiarity with the region, but the Jacada team helped us navigate what our ideal vacation would look like and mapped out an itinerary that made sense for us that covered all the places we wanted to visit in Argentina & Chile. It was the perfect balance of being engaged with us and customizing an itinerary for us vs. requiring too much of our detailed attention in the trip planning process.
From our very first call, Emily asked specific questions about our travel styles and our vacation goals that helped inform her recommendations of our activities, time allocation in each place, and where we stayed during the trip. She was very honest about the expectations that we should have for each place, whether it was regarding the weather, climbing conditions, hotels, etc. based on what she gleaned from our travel personalities, which we found very helpful and informative. Right before we left on vacation, we hopped on another call where she walked through the highlights of what we needed to remember (everything from where to meet our local guide upon landing at the airport to specifics on traveling from Argentina to Chile) which was a nice refresher also. Prior to departing on our trip we also received a beautiful, leather-bound pocket guidebook customized for our vacation, complete with high-level itinerary details and suggestions on sights and places we could check out. It was the perfect touch that helped us get excited for vacation.
Our trip exceeded all expectations and we had a great time largely in part due to 1) the seamless transitions that Jacada took care of as we traveled from one place to the next and 2) the detailed itinerary and guides that helped us not worry about anything before and during the trip. I think we appreciated it even more once we were on the ground and realized how many little transits and details we would have had to arrange and worry about if we had done it alone.
We've enjoyed vacations booked through travel companies of similar caliber before but were especially impressed by the personable service and the high quality of local guides Jacada provided us. Whether it was a trip to the Perito Merino glaciers or a day-tour of Santiago, we met excellent local guides who not only spoke fluent English and were great guides, but who were incredibly personable and educated. It was really special having such engaging guides who made us feel like we weren't tourists receiving a canned answer, but rather an expert we knew that just happened to live in the place we were visiting.

After using Jacada Travel to plan our trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe in 2016, we knew the "only way to go" to South East Asia was to use Jacada Travel once again. We've just returned from another trip of a life-time ~ 3 weeks in Thailand and Cambodia, plus a sneak preview of Singapore. Planning our trip with Keith and Gilda was great! Jacada Travel planned a perfect vacation to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Both Susann in England and Berni in Santiago took care of every detail for us and all we had to do was "enjoy the ride" as they say. In December, my wife and I made a 12 day trip to Cambodia and Thailand. I must tell you that this ranks among our best if not the best trip we have had with a travel agency. Everything went well and what was the best part was the service that the tour guides gave to my wife to accommodate her limitations caused by her Parkinson's disease. They were outstanding in making schedule adjustments and taking good care of her. The accommodations were outstanding, especially the Shinta Mani Angko in Sien Reap, Cambodia and the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok. What we really appreciated was the tour outline gave us a view of life in these countries, an excellent balance of temples and rural life and how people live on a daily basis. Every detail of the trip was laid out, and everything happened without a hitch.We had a concierge in Hong Kong that made special arrangements for us for restaurants and events. We were able to have this delightful experience because of the service performed by the very knowledgeable guides and excellent drivers, we would not have been able to take this trip with a large group, so Jacada has enriched our lives with their luxury private tours.

Jess truly listened to our needs, was responsive during the early discussions, demonstrated patience as she competed vs 4 other companies - and this was just prior to earning the business.
