We enjoy traveling and we have used Jacada Travel for some wonderful trips over several years. We have never been disappointed. In 2024 we took a Safari in Botswana Africa and walked with the gorillas in Rwanda planned by Jacada and the itinerary was amazing. In 2025 we had planned a trip to Antartica ( with another company ) but our trip was cancelled 2 days before sailing due to weather. Arriving in Santiago Chile with our vacation cancelled we called Jacada in hopes they might think of ANY alternative in short order. Dan from Jacada came through with flying colors putting together an amazing 4 night 5 day trip to the Galápagos Islands aboard a beautiful mega yacht called Hermes. In our experience, Jacada’s staff, itineraries and overall recommendations have been superior and stand out compared to their competitors.
To be able to work with a specialist who has intimate knowledge of the country is special. Charles crafted a wonderful vacation for me. I had always wanted to go to Patagonia and I feel like I had a great first taste of this beautiful country. Besides planning some amazing locations/experiences, behind the scenes they are making sure all goes smoothly. When a flight cancelled, the first I heard of it was with the solution already secured. When you want to have private amazing experiences, to not worry about how you'll get to every differnt point of the trip, all safely and knowing any hiccups would be handled - Jacada is amazing and well worth it.
If you want to experience a trip where every worry is taken off your shoulders, Jacada Travel is the company to choose. We worked with Travel Designer Daniel Scott-Kerr, whose expertise in South America was evident from the start. His choices of hotels and excursions were absolutely spot-on.
Our adventure began deep in the Amazon on the Tambopata River, staying at the Tambopata Research Center, one of the most remote and remarkable places to explore the rainforest. The wildlife and birdlife were simply incredible.
From there, we visited the beautiful city of Arequipa, rich in culture and history yet not crowded with tourists. We then crossed part of the Andean mountain range to reach Colca Canyon, a destination so stunning it is hard to describe. Our stay at the Puqio Hotel was a highlight—unique tented accommodations, sweeping canyon views, and exceptional multi-course meals.
Throughout the journey, Jacada stayed in touch via WhatsApp, offering restaurant recommendations, making reservations, and taking care of thoughtful details like ensuring bottled water was always available during tours. These little touches made a big difference.
This was a beautifully curated, seamless trip from start to finish. We would not hesitate to travel with Jacada again.
Active introductory trip to Indonesia, with a pace that suited us with exploring, hiking, cycling, and downtime to appreciate the people and the culture of the locales and relax in our surroundings. Our travel planners worked together seamlessly, the local guides were interesting and engaging. We felt well cared for and look forward to another trip!

We enjoyed the trip of a lifetime Chimpanzee and Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda and then going on Safari in Kenya. Our travel designer, David Drayton curated the most amazing trip for us. David was just wonderful to work with. He is professional, knowledgeable, and his passion for Africa is palpable. David chose the most incredible accommodations, activities and experiences for us. All our drivers and guides were top notch. David listened to our requests and concerns and gave excellent advice. We loved every single minute of our trip. Robynne was also extremely helpful as was Elizabeth in Nairobi. Robynne noticed a mistake I had made when booking our own flights when I didn’t.
This was our second trip with Jacada , we had another phenomenal trip to South Korea and Japan in 2024. We are already looking at two more Jacada journeys to Africa. Jacada is what made this trip so wonderful and more specifically Delfina and her team. from the moment we landed in Lima to the sad day we had to leave we were treated like royalty. Every tour was amazing with personal guides who were friendly and engaging. The sights were fantastic I will never forget looking down on Machu Pichu it was life changing. There are not enough good word and space to cover how fantastic this experience was. Jacada is the gold standard of travel
The people we worked with in both Argentina and Peru knew their area and were incredibly competent in understanding us. We complemented the guide at Machu Picchu for 'arranging to have the rain hold off until we were finished', but we also mentioned that he would be even better if he had arranged a rainbow. He said "I'm working on it'.. and a few minutes later we had a rainbow too. We enjoyed meeting people, seeing the beauty of the area and learning so much. The location of the hotels in the big cities (Lima and Buenos Aires) was ideal -- the neighborhoods were fun and walkable. Our only issue was the elevation in the Sacred Valley -- and we wonder why they call it a Valley if the elevation is 11,000 feet. All in all, a great experience.
We had the most amazing honeymoon in Vietnam and Cambodia planned by Jacada! We loved everyone we worked with throughout the planning process and on the trip itself.
Our trip to Japan was fantastic. It exceeded our expectations thanks to the great work of the Jacada team. We could not have undertaken this adventure on our own, so we are very grateful for the expertise of our team. The trip design provided an excellent spectrum of experiences including accommodations, food, culture, history and scenery. The logistics handled by Jacada’s in Japan partners were perfect. Great guides and drivers were always punctual and attentive to our preferences and comfort. Their professional manner created a secure and stress free experience. All of the people that we worked with including the guides and drivers - everybody in Morocco was wonderful. We really appreciate the detailed and full itinerary. We had a terrific time. Also, we do appreciate all the follow-through that both Rosie and Rita gave us before the trip and even during when we had some flight delays getting out of our departure city. We’d absolutely use Jacada again!

The team involved in my planning was very professional, accommodating, they took interest in what I wanted to accomplish during the trip. All of them starting with the planners, the guides, the drivers were amazing. Good people all of them. This is the second time I use this travel agency and I am feeling comfortable with them. Their execution has been flawless. The recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat has always been on target.

Just returned from an amazing trip through Australia and New Zealand - our second time working with Jacada. Meticulous planning, exciting itineraries, wonderful accommodations, so many memorable moments! Charlie and Jessica put together a fabulous trip for us, and were responsive to our needs throughout.
My wife and I have traveled extensively around the world, never with the assistance of a travel agent. However, when we decided to travel to Japan for our 50th Anniversary, we decided that we would use a travel agent to help us plan and execute the trip. We can say without any qualification that Jacada made our trip to Japan the trip of a lifetime and that we are never going to travel abroad without their assistance. The Jacada concierges who helped plan our trip, listened carefully to what we wanted to do and see as well as some health concerns. They skillfully put an itinerary together that matched our interests and suggested additional areas to explore that we did not know about. And when we were in Japan, the trip was seamless. At each stop, we were met by a Jacada representative who helped us navigate through the Japanese airports and train stations. At each hotel, we were met by unbelievably wonderful staff who know about our anniversary and surprised us wit gifts of candy, food and photographs taken to celebrate our stay. We used guides at each of our stops that were provided by Jacada who were all well educated, spoke perfect English, and were knowledgeable about Japanese religion, culture and history. There is no doubt that we saw parts of Japan and had experiences that would never have been available to us if we traveled on our own. We wondered how much we had missed in our travels by never using Jacada or its guides over the years. A great example of this was a traditional tea ceremony that Jacada arranged for us to experience. From talking to friends, we had been told that these tea ceremonies were very touristy, but we felt, ok when in Japan do it anyway. The tea ceremony was anything but touristy. We met our tea ceremony host at a Japanese Zen Temple that was empty except for us. After a private tour of the Temple grounds that including seeing private sanctuaries, bonsai trees that were hundreds of years old, and the private living quarters of the monks who lived in the Temple, our host took us to his home on the Temple grounds. He not only explained the tea ceremony custom, but talked about his grandmother and mother and how they had taught him about how to conduct a tea ceremony. He explained that he was studying the art of tea ceremonies under the guidance of a Zen monk who lived in the Temple. We traded discussions of life lessons and how they are reflected in Buddhist beliefs and the beliefs of our own religion. This was a highlight of our trip that will never be forgotten. It was also comforting to find that Jacada's 24 hour hot line immediately responded to one minor problem on our trip and quickly solved the issue. Finally, we were surprised on our last night in Tokyo with a wonderful package from Jacada to celebrate our anniversary. The package was filled with traditional Japanese clothing and a beautiful ceramic bowel. This is a travel agency that goes way beyond what anyone would expect. The staff are kind, caring, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. We are already thinking about our next Jacada trip.
Just can’t say enough great things about Charles at Jacada. He put together an incredible itinerary for a visit to Argentina and the surrounding areas. He stayed on top of and was able to reserve some incredible villas and worked hard to secure them. We ended up not being able to take the trip after all, but he was full of grace and understanding.
Fully intend on using Charles and Jacada in the future for Travel needs. They made everything so easy with unique offering tour guides and experiences that I could’ve never put together by myself.

Jacada took care of everything from beginning to end and the trip was not only flawless, it also greatly exceeded our expectations.
Our trip was fantastic. We got to explore great sights and have one of a kind experiences (e.g., private calligraphy and cooking classes in local homes). All of the guides were knowledgeable and terrific. In addition, Jacada had everything planned flawlessly including assistants who got us to and from each hotel and each train platform. It all made for an absolutely marvelous trip, perfectly planned and executed by Jacada Travel.

The diversity of destinations that we were taken to gave us insight into where the Peruvian people came from and what their life looks like today. From the many natural sites that we got to explore, the story of their history seen at the archaeological sites, observation of the activities that guide their daily life and of course the culinary adventures that we had, we came away from this trip with an insight into a culture that we previously knew very little about. Jacada orchestrated all of this down to the smallest detail. We were always provided with every convenience available and were secure in all of the arrangements as well as all of our guides knowledge and expertise. Any questions or issues were addressed quickly. While our time in Peru was very busy, we were always relaxed knowing that we were being well taken care of.

My experience with Jacada Travel was wonderful from booking, to the end and after. My travel concierges, Charles and Flavia, did an excellent job putting my dream adventure together. In hindsight, I would have spent less time in Sao Paulo because the 3 places I stayed in the Pantanal and Iguazu were exceptional. But, that's what travel is about, ALL the experiences.
I saw so much wildlife during my stay and ate excellent food, especially at Barra Mansa Lodge in the Pantanal.

We had used Jacada for a previous trip to Iceland and could not have been more satisfied. So, we decided to use them to plan our safari trip to South Africa.
Jacada did an amazing job listening to our desires and planning a trip around them. Jody and Betty at Jacada listened closely to what we were looking for and as always Jacada was with us every step of the way making sure our trip was perfect.
Since we had never been to Africa and likely will not go again we wanted to make sure we had an experience that gave us as much variation as possible. Jacada did a perfect job planning the accommodations and safaris in two completely different areas of South Africa. We stayed several days in the Ngala private reserve and then a few more in Phinda, with much different foliage, geography, and geology.
We couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff at the camps or the drivers and trackers. Yusi and Andzani at Ngala and Matt and Sofiso at Phinda were extremely knowledgeable and certainly knew how to find the animals! We could not believe the quantity and types of wildlife we saw nor how close we were able to get to them in our safari vehicle.
Our accommodations were upscale, the food and wine were excellent, and the safari drives and camps were beyond what we imagined. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.

The best part of the experience was how seamless it was. We had about three months in South and Central America, much of it planned by Jacada. We expected at least a few problems or inconveniences, but Jacada made getting from point A to point B..C..D very easy. We didn’t have to worry about anything. When we did have questions, Carlos was available to answer them. He hooked us up with great reservations for dinner in a number of different cities. He even met us in Santiago for a drink and showed us a bit of the city. I thought this was very nice of him and beyond what we could have reasonably expected from the team. As far as the experiences, I cannot think of a single guide who wasn’t excellent. While a few always stand out, everyone was timely, professional, and very enjoyable to be around. They made every experience fun and educational. Additionally, every accommodation selected by Em was awesome. Even in some of the more “rustic” areas, our hotels/accommodation had everything we needed. The whole trip exceeded our expectations, and I will be telling anyone planning a trip that Jacada is the way to go!
We used Jacada for my 40th birthday trip to Switzerland and Italy last month. Let me tell you, they knocked it out of the park!!! My husband, and I had looked at other travel companies who made itineraries for us with our exact requests. I wasn’t happy with any of them for the amount of money we planned to spend, so reached out to Jacada. They listened to our interests, what we wanted to get out of the trip, and were truly invested in the type of people my husband and I were so that they could fully create a personalized itinerary. Kirsty, Georgia, and Alice helped us through the whole process of planning, as well as answered any questions we may have had, no matter how small or stupid. We planned our trip a year ahead of time and they made sure to keep in constant communication with us during that time. The hotels, the transportation, and all the people that they used for their extra trips and experiences were absolutely fabulous! For example, they knew that I am a veterinarian, so they made sure to set up a hike and Bern, Switzerland with St. Bernard dogs!!!! It was so unique and so fun, and experience that will never forget!!! They even helped us find restaurants in the areas that we would be in and offered to make reservations if needed. All of the experiences were private tours, so no large groups of people. The company also uses smaller businesses for their unique experiences, which I found to be incredible! No tourist traps here!I was also thoroughly impressed at the fact that even when we returned from our dreamy vacation, Georgia set up a phone call to talk about the trip….the company truly wanted to know how we felt about our experience and was genuinely interested in our feedback. Yes, it is pricey, but I will guarantee you that it is money well spent! It was worth every penny! Can’t take it with you, right?!? Might as well enjoy it!! I would recommend people use Jacada 1000 times over and can’t wait to use them again for our future trips!!!
They were able to very quickly plan a fabulous safari for us in 2 mos time. It was seamless with excellent drivers/guides/accommodations. They coordinated a follow up meeting to make sure everything went well and desired to know how to improve.
We booked our luxury travel to Turkey through Jacada. Meg and Rita were exceptional travel designers, considering our specific interests, physical limitations, and variety of active and restful activities to craft the perfect trip for us. All the little details were considered so that when we arrived, we could fully decompress and let the trip unfold. David and Rahma did an amazing job of curating and managing our trip to Bhutan. We did run into some logistical challenges on the trip due to some serious weather and the team seamlessly adjusted to ensure we didn't feel the interruption really at all.

We had a wonderful trip in Georgia with diverse experiences and activities that suited us. The reasons are clear. First, we had an excellent pre-trip planning process with Jack Beckford where we were able to iterate through places and itineraries that made sense. Second, the logistics on the ground were impeccable, from our personal tour guide to our driver and vehicle. Third, the meals, accommodations, and tour spots were outstanding.
