    Monique

Catamaran through the Galápagos’ wild heart
An open-air boat deck with a whirlpool, deckchairs with pillows, a bar and some tables with a covered area for shade. In the background, sailboats on water, a rock formation and blue sky with white clouds.

An intimate cruise taking in the diverse wildlife of islands like Santa Cruz, Isabela and Fernandina

The Monique Premium Yacht carries just 16 guests, offering an intimate Galápagos cruising experience. Each cabin has minimalist decor and floor-to-ceiling windows to emphasise the vibrant marine ecosystem just outside. The three decks offer different perspectives on the ocean: a Sky Deck with a whirlpool and outdoor lounge, an Upper Deck with a shaded terrace and sun loungers, and a Main Deck with an indoor lounge, dining salon and observation platform.

Excursions uncover the extraordinary biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands. On Santa Cruz, you can visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center (also known as the Charles Darwin Research Station) to learn about conservation work with giant tortoises. A landing at Genovesa takes you up El Barranco, or Prince Philip’s Steps, where red-footed boobies and frigatebirds wheel overhead. Further west, Fernandina’s Punta Espinoza reveals the largest colony of marine iguanas in the archipelago, sharing the rocks with sea lions and Galápagos penguins.

Life on board is equally considered. Meals showcase locally sourced ingredients and Ecuadorian flavours, served indoors or al fresco on the Sky Deck as the sun sets. With a near one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio, service feels highly personal, and bilingual naturalist guides accompany every landing to give you an in-depth understanding of the region’s extraordinary biodiversity. Solar panels and lithium batteries reduce noise and emissions, allowing for smoother passage and quieter navigation in sensitive habitats.
