Hurawalhi

Located on a private island in the Lhaviyani Atoll, Hurawalhi is the very definition of a perfect tropical hideaway. Reached by a 40-minute seaplane journey from Mahe airport, the resort is surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean and white sandy beaches.

One of the most amazing things about Hurawalhi is the 5.8 Undersea Restaurant, an incredible glass underwater restaurant. There is also the Aquarium Restaurant & Bar named after the adjacent coral reef, and Canneli restaurant – the name for yellowfin tuna in Dhivehi.

There is also an outdoor champagne pavilion where you can enjoy a crisp glass of bubbles as you look out over Dream Island, Hurawalhi’s private sandbank. There is so much to do while staying at Hurawalhi, from swimming, snorkelling and diving to playing tennis or indulging in a spa treatment. There is also a resident marine biologist, so you can learn all about the wealth of wildlife that swims through the Indian Ocean.
