        Days 1–3

Two nights of refined culture in Milan

Italy’s sophisticated financial hub is renowned for its design, art and fashion scenes, as well as its elegant architecture and exceptional Italian cuisine. At the heart of Milan is the Piazza del Duomo, with its magnificent gothic cathedral and the glass vaulted arcades of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which lead visitors to La Scala, the city’s opera house, and onwards to the world-renowned fashion district of quadrilatero della moda. Head south for the Navigli district of Milan, where aperitivo culture thrives alongside the city’s famous canals.

Begin your expert-guided tour at the Piazza Duomo with its magnificent cathedral, the world’s fourth largest, enjoying priority access to both the interior and rooftop terraces for stunning city views. Just across the piazza is glass-roofed Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a pioneering 1865 shopping arcade with intricate mosaic floors.

        Shopping and fashion tour

As the global fashion and design capital, Milan offers an unparalleled shopping experience that can only be improved with the expertise of a personal shopper. Whether you want to create your own signature perfume or visit a traditional workshop where artisans craft bespoke leather boots, this fashion tour is totally tailored to you.

        Days 3–5

Two scenic nights on Lake Garda

Northern Italy’s Lake Garda is blessed with a mild Mediterranean climate perfect for year-round visits. Visit charming medieval towns like Torri del Benaco on the eastern Veronese shore and bustling resorts such as Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda on the south shore – on the dramatic north shore around Riva del Garda there’s excellent sailing and windsurfing with a stunning mountain backdrop.

Set off on a half-day guided e-bike tour around stunning Lake Garda, beginning with a transfer to the bike rental centre where you’ll meet your expert guide. Pedal through scenic landscapes with breathtaking views of the lake, lush hillsides and charming villages, taking breaks to enjoy the best local specialities.

        Sirmione and Grotte di Catullo

Pretty Sirmione, renowned for its thermal waters, sits on a narrow peninsula jutting into Lake Garda with spectacular views of both shores. The archeological site at the peninsula’s tip contains the remains of a large Roman villa known as “Grotte di Catullo”, built between the first century B.C. and A.D.

        Days 5–8

Three nights in the dramatic Dolomites

The Dolomites, the “pale mountains” in the eastern section of the northern Italian Alps, showcase some of the country’s most spectacular alpine scenery with 18 peaks soaring above 3,000 metres. Bolzano, the South Tyrol city where German is still widely spoken, serves as the gateway to these magical mountains, including the legendary Rosengarten peak and the towering Marmolada glacier, known as the “Queen of the Dolomites”.

        E-biking in the Dolomites

Meet your English-speaking alpine guide in your hotel lobby before setting off on a full day on an e-bike, immersing yourself in the picturesque Dolomite landscape of lush valleys and rugged peaks. Speak to your travel designer about whether you prefer gentle slopes or challenging climbs.

Discover the Five Lakes hiking tour

The Giro del Cinque Laghi (Tour of the Five Lakes) is a spectacular circuit circumnavigating five glacial lakes in the Adamello-Presanella Alps. This granite landscape provides a striking contrast to the typical dolomite and limestone terrain of the region, where lakes are rare due to the porous nature of the rock. Your expert guide will lead you along winding lakeside trails to the best viewpoints.

        Days 8–9

        One captivating night in Venice

The romantic floating city of Venice, with its 118 islands connected by some 400 bridges, has captivated visitors for centuries. The city’s iconic landmarks include Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge, Doge’s Palace and Saint Mark’s Basilica, but beyond its architectural splendour, Venice excels in fine dining restaurants serving fresh seafood and typical cicchetti (small plates) paired with spritzes. The less-visited islands in the Venetian lagoon – Burano, Mazzorbo and Murano – offer a peaceful and authentic insight into Venetian culture.

Boat tour of the Grand Canal, Murano and Burano

The Grand Canal winds through Venice in a reverse “S” shape, serving as the main thoroughfare for gondolas and vaporetti that glide between magnificent palaces and private residences. Your journey continues to the islands of Murano, renowned for its master glassmakers, and Burano, celebrated for its brightly painted houses and traditional lace-making heritage.

Jacada and both Louisa and Rita are exceptional. This was our first experience both with Italy and Jacada, so we were not sure exactly what to expect. We were absolutely blown away by the trip they planned and the experiences they set up. First and foremost, the guides they set us up with in each city were above and beyond…
