Brimstone Hotel

Langdale is one of the most beautiful and dramatic valleys in the Lake District and the Brimstone Hotel offers tranquil luxury nestled in the heart of this spectacular national park.

Drawing on the style of a traditional ski chalet, the collection of 16 suites and rooms are constructed of blue-grey Lakeland stone with muted tones, wood finishes and plush carpet interiors. Dine at The Stove, a 200-cover fine dining restaurant with wooden tables cut from Langdale estate’s own trees. The restaurant specialises in grilled and smoked meats and fish, with an emphasis on local produce and flawless cooking. The Wainwright’s Inn is a short walk up the road and serves hearty meals and local drinks.

Brimstone is perfectly located to discover some of the finest landscape and scenery in the soon to be UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lake District, with the Langdale valley home to rocky outcrops, babbling streams and some of the best views in the whole region.
