    Shamwari Sarili Lodge

    Elegant game reserve escape

Luxurious comfort meets unforgettable wildlife experiences at Sarili Lodge in Shamwari Game Reserve. With views out over Bushman’s River and the grasslands, you’ll be perfectly placed to make the most of the breathtaking sunsets and relax surrounded by nature.

The lodge’s five rooms are light and welcoming. Large windows and balconies bring the bush closer, while some rooms lead onto a quiet courtyard.

Spend your day unwinding in the heated swimming pool, as younger guests wallow in the shallow area. Connect with your fellow travellers in the lounge area and make use of the lodge’s in and outdoor dining facilities.

This part of the Eastern Cape was once incredibly rich in wildlife, but hunting and poor farming practices threatened that. Over the past 25 years much of the area has been rehabilitated and as a result, wild species that were in decline have begun to increase again. Conservation and social responsibility are high on Sarili Lodge’s list of priorities.
