This had to be the most seamless experience I have had traveling. Emily and Susanne where always available to answer questions. We went to 4 different areas in Argentina and Chile. Upon arrival in each city, there was always some one to greet us and take us to the hotel. The guides we had through out the trip were A+. The guides got us through the airports without having to wait in line. Stella our guide in Buenos Aires was great and spent 2 days with us. Eduardo was our guide in Mendoza the wine region, took us to 6 winery's which he knew all the owners. We were treated first class. In Santiago our guide was Alvaro. he knew Santiago like the back of his hand. We went on a walking tour of the city. The main reason for the trip was Patagonia. The hotel (Tierra Patagonia) was unbelievable. 5 stars. I would uses Jacada, Emily and Susanne again to plan a vacation. Not a bad find for a search on the internet.

A friend and I wanted to plan a trip to Thailand and Cambodia. We are unfamiliar with this part of the world, and turned to Jacada for help. We worked with Rachel and I highly recommend her. She really listened to us and helped us handcraft the type of experience we wanted. Some of her suggestions were the highlights of our trip! She arranged a day at a private elephant sanctuary, a day of shopping at a local market with a chef and a cooking class just with the two of us. None of the experiences felt "canned". These people had a passion for their work and it showed. She arranged private guides at each location- these people made all the difference. Their English was excellent and they helped us to understand the history , culture and day to day concerns of the population. This added a real richness to the experience. She chose great (non generic) hotels that reflected a local flavor. She helped us with dinner recommendations. I highly recommend Rachel and Jacada. I will use them again when my desired travel destinations line up with their expertise.
Jacada Travel gave us a trip of a life time! We were kept on an amazing adventure every day. From the beginning Rachel Beck was easy to talk to and listened to what we wanted out of a trip to Southeast Asia; with her experience and expertise she mapped out our trip and exceeded all of our expectations!
Along with Alec Curry they hired English speaking tour guides that were extremely nice, fun, informative, intelligent, punctual and adaptable to our needs! The accommodations, vehicles, boats, bikes restaurants, spas, sightseeing, cooking classes, shopping and even golf courses were spectacular!!!! We will definitely use Jacada Travel again to fullfill our bucket list!

We recently spent three weeks in Chile and Argentina with all the arrangements made by Jacada. George Warren took the time upfront to learn about our interests and any limitations, and then worked through several itinerary iterations to get to the perfect trip. His personal knowledge of the lodges and hotels where we stayed as well as local guides and environment made all the difference, and the execution was flawless. George checked in with emails and notes thought the trip to learn how we were progressing, willing to make any mid course adjustments (although none were necessary). Where Jacada has local expertise, we would turn to them again for future travel in a heartbeat.
All aspects of the trip were handled with great care to detail and efficiently.

The Travel Designer, Joyce Choi, is really knowledgeable, helpful and patiently answered all my questions for my first ever climbing trip. The best Travel Designer that I ever dealt with.
On the ground, the arrangement was perfect. The local trekking company that Jacada chose is also one of the best. Their crews are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We spent 8 days in the mountain and it went so fast because we had so much fun with the crews.

Our trip was to Vietnam and Cambodia. The choices of hotels were also excellent, the best available in the locations. We enjoyed the activities, which were varied and adapted to our age and preference even the first morning tai-chi lesson at six. The guides were knowledgable,easy going
and always prompt on time. Drivers and vehicles both of high quality.
Their choice of travel by boat or Van was great as road or traffic conditions were chosen to be most convenient for us.
They organized surprise lunches in the middle of the jungle, complete with table linnens, porcelain dinnerware and real glasses. Another time people came out of the jungle with glasses filled with champagne to welcome from a boat trip.
Traveling with two aging couples, we had a wonderful time.
We would highly recommend Jacada and Jonny to anyone--and, in fact, already have recommended it to my brother! Jonny was incredibly patient and flexible during the planning stages. He listened to exactly what we wanted and was able to deliver an amazing experience that exceeded our expectations. Our 8 days in Argentina, to visit our daughter during her junior year abroad, were just right: 3 days in BA, 2 days in Iguazu and 2 days on an idyllic horse ranch. Intensity to relaxation. Everything went as planned, and felt effortless. Constanza is an amazing guide. We are experienced travellers and had only used an agent once before, and think this trip was perfect.
Our trip was a major outing of our entire 17 member immediate family to the Gallipolis Islands, all arriving from different locations, and with slightly different prior event itineraries.

I decided to plan a trip with my daughter in Dec 2015. We finalised South africa as our tour destination in late Oct/early Nov, which was quite late considering year end rush. We had planned a Peru trip and had to made last minute changes. Ciara was magnificent in altering the details to make it an even more memorable trip than originally planned. Were were cared for every step of the way but even enough free time to explore on our own.

I retained Jacada to arrange a trip to Chilean Patagonia and Mendoza in Argentina for my spouse and myself in January 2016.
I was very impressed by their deep knowledge of the region and professionalism. Everything worked like clockwork, and we were accompanied by outstanding guides who were from the region and were interested and interesting. I was also very impressed that the guides had our itineraries, and we had hand-written notes from George Warren in our hotel rooms when checking in!

We were very extremely happy with the Jacada experience. We were very eager to plan our trip to Antarctica and Patagonia and they worked to coordinate everything for us with Antarctica XXI. Ciara was our main contact and must have pulled together a million versions of the itinerary until we had examined every possible option and found the perfect fit . They were just as excited about our trip as we were! We spent a few days in Santiago before and then a week in Patagonia after the cruise. Both locations were amazing and we stayed at Singular hotels. They provided transportation at each stop and a full book beforehand with detailed itineraries for each leg of the trip. A wonderful experience !
George from Jacada arranged my honeymoon in Brazil and Argentina in December 2015.

My wife and I and our two teenage girls spent 3 nights in Tokyo, 1 in Hakone and 4 nights in Kyoto. The hotels were first class and the one night at a traditional Japanese inn in Hakone was a wonderful touch. The private tour guides were amazing everyday and made for a smooth transition to a new cultural experience.
Each day was planned out exceptionally well for us to maximize the places we could see. Importantly the guides were flexible enough that we could optimize our adventures on the fly to see everything we wanted. The guides had amazing knowledge, pointed us to truly fantastic food and culture and taught us so much.
Jacada's planning was impeccable from the moment we were picked up at the airport to when we left. The combination of big city (Tokyo, Osaka), country near Mt. Fuji (Hakone) and historical (Kyoto, Nara) was a perfect mix.

The planning process:
Jobi made sure she understands what we want exactly out of our trip and was able to plan the perfect honeymoon for us. It was obvious to us that she knows South America extremely well and was able to advise us with any questions we might have. She also took great initiative to follow up on e-mails and calls if she doesn’t hear from us for a day. Knowing that we like adventure and food, she was even able to recommend us down to the restaurants to book. Having a perfectly planned trip makes the execution less likely to fail.
The trip itself:
A few weeks before the trip, we received two little black books complete with all the information we need for packing and preparing. It was extremely useful. The trip itself was amazing! The guides were very helpful and informative, and we enjoyed our time in each place. The number of days spent in each place was just perfect, none too short and none too long, which again shows how well Jobi knows her clients and each location well. Furthermore, we were very impressed and pleasantly surprised that at every hotel that we check in, there is always a card (mostly handwritten) from Jobi welcoming us, and describing to us the location and what she thinks we will like best. It was a very nice personalized touch that always warms our hearts whenever we check into a hotel. The service during the trip was also beyond our expectations. Having a 35-day honeymoon bound to have some hiccups here and there, but despite the time difference, Jobi was always there to facilitate our needs.
After the trip:
Even though the trip has ended and there is no more obligation from Jacada to us, Jobi and her team (especially Chile team) were still helping us track some shipment back to Singapore. The final shipment (we custom made a 70kg moai statue from Easter Island) has finally arrived and we are extremely happy that there is a momento from our amazing South American honeymoon! We wanted to post the photo of the moai but there is no attachment option on this site :(

Jacada travel provided the very best vacation I have ever experienced! The trip to South Africa included tours of Capetown, cage diving with great white sharks, whale watching, and a safari at Sabi Sands. Every aspect, including rooms, tours, and guides were simply fantastic. I would highly recommend Jacada travel!
15 day trip that was magical. We normally book our vacations ourselves but we were first timers to Africa and decided to use Jacada. They exceeded our expectations in terms of choices and delivery of services. Tess knew the right "pace" of the trip (how long on safari, when to move back to Capetown, when to do wine country and then back on safari). She made all the right choices for us in experiences and accomadations. Even met us mid trip for a cup of tea!

We found Jacada Travel to be extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the planning process and booking of our recent holiday to Ecuador and the Galapagos islands. Ciara, who were predominantly dealing with, was always very prompt replying to any queries and answered every question we had, however trivial! we received a lovely travel pack, were expertly handled throughout our various journeys and couldn't fault any part of the service we received. An excellent company to deal with.
Until this recent trip to South East Asia we have always travelled 100% independently, but even by our standards, this was a pretty complicated journey to four countries in just under 4 weeks, involving almost every conceivable form of transportation. More than that, it was to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary, so we decided the stakes and expense were too high for us to go it alone.
Kate, Alec and the team at Jacada and their partners at Trails of Indochina, who provided our superb guides- Phi in Vietnam, Sarom in Cambodia and Johnny in Laos and organised all the logistics on the ground, made it seamless and stress free and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
My wife and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, which was entirely planned by Rachel Beck of Jacada. Rachel suggested the itinerary; planned the activities in each location, which she tailored very well to conform to our interests (as we had described them to her in phone conversations and e-mails); made all of our excellent hotel, travel and transfer arrangements; arranged for us to be met by a guide at the airport in each location, wisked through the terminal, and driven to our hotel; and arranged for us to have excellent, helpful, guides who led us through the planned activities in each location. Rachel's itinerary turned out to be excellently planned and her colleagues at each location carried it out flawlessly. It was a pleasure to work with Rachel and Jacada --Rachel is extremely competent, and during the planning stage she was always very responsive, helpful, and accommodating -- and I recommend her and Jacada without qualification.
They were amazing! Instead of fitting us into an already establishad tour, they allowed us to design the tour we wanted and accommodated all our eating quirks and also our budget!
I have just returned from South Africa, a trip that I have waited over 25 years to take, it has always been my life long dream to go on safari and Byron and his amazing team made it happen.
I found Jacada Travel purely by accident while I was researching safari's, as I was travelling alone it was very important to me to have the right agent working on my behalf. From the first time I contacted Byron to let him know what exactly I was looking for, the service has been nothing short of OUTSTANDING.
He put together an itinerary for me that was privately guided, the accommodations were beyond exceptional. Firstly it was 4 nights at the Sea Five boutique hotel in Camps Bay, just outside of Capetown, then it was on to 2 nights at the Birkenhead House in Hermanus for shark diving and whale watching, the view of the ocean and breaching humpback whales from the Birkenhead House was absolutely breathtaking. Then it was on to the highlight of my trip, Chitwa Chitwa for 4 nights and 2 daily safari drives (a total of 8). This place is magical, from the view of elephants playing around in the waterhole from the deck of my lodge, to the abundance of animals I was privileged to see during my drives. On my first drive I was lucky enough to see 3 of the Big 5, elephant, lion and buffalo, the next morning drive I saw the other 2, leopard and rhino.
I left a piece of my heart at Chitwa and will cherish my time spent there forever<3
The guides and hotel staff everywhere I stayed were phenomenal, and the service from Byron and Alec was like nothing I have ever experienced, right down to my little black travel book which I received about a month before my departure date, and to the little welcome notes that were waiting for me upon check in at my accommodations.
Five stars doesn't seem like enough, I wish I could rate them much higher. My advice to anyone looking to book a trip of a lifetime is don't look any further than Jacada Travel, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Our tour of Peru was terrific. Lima was a very pleasant surprise. Our morning tour guide took us to the main attractions in the old city and some special sites, particularly the oldest house in Lima which was not to be missed. Jacada was very helpful in arranging a car and driver for the afternoon to visit the fishing wharf and Christ statue overlooking the city, both highlights of our Lima Visit.
Our adventure continued through the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco with a terrific guide, Johan Sueros. He was extremely accommodating and knowledgable. Very patient with us working through the challenges of the high altitudes and taking us to a few unscheduled locations such as the Cuscos market. Both train rides we took were exceptional (Hiram Bingham to Machu Picchu and the Andean Explorer) and our time at Lake Titikaka was stunningly beautiful.
In all locations the service from Jacada was perfect. Always there to ensure our travel connections were flawless. All of our accommodations were high quality, especially the Casona Inkaterra in Cusco and the Titilaka on Lake Titikaka.
We used Jacada for our trip to Peru to see Machu Pichu. Everything was perfect from the planning process, through the trip and our return. We had many complicated logistics and our guides were always there to take care of us, share their knowledge and show us the sights.
Just to re-iterate further...Emily (Jacada Travel Specialist) who planned the trip for us was absolutely amazing. We had ZERO worry the entire time once we booked with Jacada. If you're debating whether or not to use them, don't.
We would recommend without hesitation Jacada - we will be using them again soon for a trip to Iceland.

From the initial review of the Jacana website to contact with George our travel consultant we had big expectations… Peru was on our bucket list and our first trip to South America.
It was without a doubt one of the most well organized, seamless travel experience we have had, and we are a well traveled couple.
Our guides when we touched down in Peru for each leg of our journey were true professionals and clearly enjoy what they do and have a love and knowledge of their country that created the perfect environment as we travelled around the country.
It really is a 5* guided travel service that makes you feel that at any turn you can be helped or guided with your every need. We had the privacy of beautiful hotels, private tours and being able to manage seeing places without going when it was busy with tourists.
I know that people visit Peru because of the famous Machu Picchu however there are so many more magical places that will make us return to this warm and wonderful place, this was truly helped by the expert planning from Jacada.

This has to be the best holiday that we have ever taken. From the very beginning Jonny guided us through the booking of a spectacular itinerary to suit what we wanted to see and experience during our visit to Africa.
We stayed in five different places during a two week period. Each location and accommodation were excellent, our favourite being the Lamai Serengeti Camp. The guides and accommodation staff were superb, we were made to feel very welcome and looked after.
During the holiday we enjoyed day drives, night drives, a bush walk and a balloon ride then went to relax on the beach at the Breezes Beech Club in Zanzibar for four days before flying home.

Wonderful vacation to South Africa with Jacada Travel. Trip planning by Byron was thoughtful, innovative and responsive. We achieved all that we wanted to plus lots of additional experiences along the way that only true experts on South Africa would be able to recommend and provide. The trip itself was flawless.
