Our trip to South Africa and Zambia couldn't have gone better . We left the planning to Jacada and the entire trip was scripted in a professional and first class manner . Every detail was considered and covered . We visited capetown, the South African wine lands , went on a safari and visited Victoria falls and each and everyone of these visits created special memories thanks to the great trip plan that Jacada put together .

From the initial phone call to the welcoming home call our holiday could not be faulted.
Our first stop was Rio, our guide Marcelo was first class, he moved our itinerary around when it rained so we always had something interesting to see. Our driver Alex made us feel very safe, a very careful driver who was there by magic to pick us up after visiting sights.
Rio exceeded our expectations, thank you George for understanding my needs and getting the itinerary just right.
On arrival at Picinguaba after a four hour drive from Rio I was faced with a rather steep climb up to Pousada Picinguaba and I did mumble "you are dead Georg"!, however the climb did not prove a problem and the Pousada was excellent.
Our guide at the Iguassu Falls could not be faulted. The falls were magnificent, they were the reason for this trip.
The last five days of our trip were spent on the Aria Amazon cruise boat, what a splendid way to explore the Amazon.
Thank you George and Suzanne for the welcome notes in all of our hotels, it was a very nice personal and appreciated touch.
This was the first time we have used Jacada and would highly recommend and use them in the future.

My husband and I recently experienced our third adventure with Jacada Travel in Chile for my 30th birthday. As with our previous trips, each step of the process was exceptionally thorough and personally tailored to our individual style of travel. I am a planner by nature, and tend to invest significant time in researching/planning my trip. Despite this, I rely on Jacada Travel for their expert first-hand advice and for their unique exploration opportunities. We also love that each accommodation is excellent, and every tour/exploration is at the highest level with the most knowledgable guides.
Jacada handled our trip flawlessly! All of the guides were very personable and each lodge was exceptionally well equipped and comfortable for our stay. Our travel consultant out together the perfect trip for my son and I. There was a great balance of sightseeing, physical activity, and museums. Our tour guides spoke perfect English, accurately gauged how much information we could absorb, were highly informative and just plain nice. The hotel accommodations were spot on perfect choices and the exact level of comfort needed. I will 100% use Jacada again for my next travel adventure.
George organized a tour for us which was absolutely suited to our needs. Not only did he put this together, but he did so on very short notice after another tour company cancelled our tour on quite short notice. From the time we arrived at our home airport in Toronto at the start of our vacation, until the date that we arrived at our leaving airport in Quito, Ecuador, at the end of our vacation, George organized this tour every step of the way. Not only were the drivers and tour guides on time and extremely helpful, but George himself arranged to leave notes and treats for us along the way to greet us as we arrived at each of our destinations. These extra "goodies" were unexpected but surely provided my wife and I with much pleasure and delight. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacada to others and, in fact, I have already done so in the first week following my return from vacation. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!
We just returned from a three-week trip to Peru and Ecuador arranged by Jacada. While we normally schedule our own travels, we wanted to see Machu Picchu, the Amazon rainforest, and the Galapagos and knew we needed help. After reviewing several companies, we decided on Jacada because of its experience, positive reviews, and responsiveness. We found Jacada to be outstanding in all regards, from planning to execution. Our representatives were Emily and Suzann who were very knowledgeable about South America and who provided detailed information on transportation, guides, hotels, restaurants, and excursions. They also were exceptional in helping us determine a budget and offering options that would meet it. For example, we really wanted to stay at the Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu and have a suite for our Galapagos cruise (both pricey) and were perfectly happy to stay at a Marriott or Hilton in other cities at a lower cost. Both Emily and Suzann kept in constant touch during the planning process, responding immediately with emails or phone calls. They even got us restaurant reservations in Lima at Central and Maido (5th and 8th in the world, respectively). The trip turned out to be perfect in every way. Our tours were fantastic, and our drivers and guides were outstanding, always prompt, very friendly, and helpful. This was particularly important during challenging times, such as the 6-hour delay from Machu Picchu due to a landslide on the train tracks; Adrianna and Antonio were there waiting for us and smiling and got us to Cusco at 2am! Emily and Suzann also kept up with us during the trip with small notes at the hotels and a lovely gift of alpaca scarves. Because of the attention to details and overall quality of the trip, we would not hesitate to book with Jacada again and highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed working with Jacada Travel for my family trip to Iceland. Melania's enthusiasm for the location was contagious, and she put together an incredible package for us that included hotels, tours, and restaurant reservations. The folks on the ground in Iceland were also incredible. I would book with Jacada in the future for sure.

I needed some late season planning for a Galapagos trip - a destination I was at a loss to know where to begin. George and Susann created an incredible experience for us. It was tailored exactly to our wants and needs and their recommendations were spot on.
In particular, their handling of the logistics on a multi-leg, two week trip was excellent - all we had to do was show up and everything was already taken care of. They also provided us with a native Jacada representative for part of our trip to help us get about. In one example of the value he added, we would have certainly missed our flight home had we not been with him. He was also funny and knowledgable and just a pleasure to travel with.
Their communication skills are also excellent, both while we planned the trip and while we were traveling.
In conclusion, now that I know the value that Jacada adds, I'm not sure I would plan a logistics heavy international trip without them.
Kate E from Jacada Tavel planned our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. She did an amazing job, we loved the entire trip. The trip was filled with many delightful surprises and special details. I will refer all my friends and family to her. I hope to have her plan many more trips for us.
All the Jacada people were great to be with. They assisted us from the planning through to the execution of our journey. The home office people were very knowledgeable in setting up our travel plan and the guides and drivers got us to all the places and informed us well regarding the sights.
Machu Picchu was the center point of our adventure and the assistance of our guide Nilo made it every bit of our expectations and then some.
Visiting the Sacred Valley in advance of M P gave reference to the role and life of the Inca nation and made the visit to MP much more worthwhile.
Also, feeding the baby Alpacas that morning was great fun........
As an added bonus to our trip, we were set up with a cooking class in Cusco that was fantastic for us. Peruvian cuisine organized by a master chef and then able to enjoy it all was our best meal of the trip.
Top notch! I brought my daughter down to Patagonia and I didn't have to worry about a thing and we felt so safe and taken care of every step of the way.

Jacada Travel is a superb travel agency. From the time you book your tour until the time you return, Jacada is always there looking after you. Their connections are extensive and every individual hired (whether a guide or hotel staff member, etc) is incredibly solicitous, reliable and knowledgable of the country/place being visited. They are also personable and fun to be with and never dull or pedantic

Jacada Travel planned a spectacular trip for our family to Patagonia. Emily knew the area very well so her expertise helped put together a trip that met the entire family's expectations. Emily and the entire team was there for us when something unfortunate occurred at one of the properties where we stayed. I can't thank Emily and the entire Jacada team enough.
We greatly enjoyed planning our trip with George and Susann of Jacada, and sharing with them our excitement about the places and people we were going to see. Once we got underway, they made it clear that they remained willing to help, and that assurance was tested during a small medical emergency near the beginning of our trip. George stayed in touch, and coordinated assistance via Jacada's local partner. We were gratified to find that he energetically stood by his earlier commitment to offer such help in the (we thought) unlikely event it would be needed. Had a great time and everything went smoothly. Ocean Spray was a great boat for the tour. There were 15 guests, 1 guide and 11 crew on board. There was great attention to detail and the needs of passengers.

Joyce did an excellent job of arranging all the logistics for our 3.5 week holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia, to such an extent that after day one, I didn't worry about where I was going or how I was going to get there as I knew we were going to be well looked after. Our holiday was a mixture of both cultural and military history experiences, and Joyce was able to satisfy both requirements, even engaging guides who were well versed in the more subtle aspects of military history. Joyce identified some fun and different experiences for us to do, so we obtained a good cross section of the culture and the people. We stayed in very good quality hotels both of a more boutique nature as well as those of a more main stream nature - having gone with Jacada once and understanding how they select and test out the hotels their guests are to stay in - I would probably use more boutique hotels next time. Joyce also provided some excellent suggestions for evening meals and made our reservations before we left so that we didn't even have to think about at the end of a very busy day - "where are we going to eat". Even when a two night side trip had to be cancelled because of bad weather conditions (fog) that was set in, the Jacada team with our guide came up with a new arrangement for a different location within a few hours - seamlessly and very well executed. I have no hesitation in recommending Joyce and the Jacada Travel team - my husband and I had a really wonderful holiday.
Jacada guided us throughout Vietnam and Cambodia--and did a superb job. We had a complicated trip--many boat rides, trains, and flights and guides picking us up. Everything worked! Jacada also came up with a handful of unique experiences--a private concert and dinner, sunset boat cruises with gin and tonics, stops at tiny restaurants, and more. We decided to take a family trip to South America, but having never been there before, we contacted Jacada Travel to see what they would suggest. After sharing with them our ideas of what we would like to see, they created a plan to see everything we could in the 10 days we had available for our family trip. Their experience in the region of Patagonia was so helpful and they arranged fantastic hotels and tours for us. Every guide and driver was so informative and helpful. I located Jacada Travel on a random internet search. I booked travel to Vietnam/Cambodia, on a personal trip for my wife and myself. The service was great..very knowledgeable guides ,great hotels, and they kept in contact with us during the entire trip. I would strongly recommend Jacada Travel !!!

Typically we book our trip ourselves, but this trip we decided to book with an agency as we were going to lots of different places in Asia. We spoke with Rachel who planned our trip with us after a long conversation with my husband about our interests and things we wanted to see and do. The itinerary presented was well put together and everything went smoothly throughout our trip. It was nice to have someone else do the planning. Rachel got back to us in a timely manner if we had questions and always followed up with a call despite the time difference as we are in Canada. I would definitely use Jacada again. We enjoyed the privacy of the trip and all the details they presented. This was definitely a once in a life time trip!
Our family of 5 adults met in Guayaquil, coming from three different cities across the USA. All transports from the airport to the hotel Hilton Colon were arranged and made easy for us. Jen arranged a city tour for the next day, which was the perfect introduction to the area and the right amount of time. We departed for the Galapagos the day after.
The Eclipse was our floating home, with about 35 fellow passengers for the next week. We explored 10-12 islands, saw countless endemic birds, sea lions, iguanas, tortoises and even a penguin or two. We could not have been more pleased with our naturalists, the food and the superior quality of service we enjoyed on the Eclipse.
It would have been nice to know ahead of time that there would be a separate group of people, who had booked through another company (Abercrombie and Kent), who then had the advantage of a concierge who accompanied them, set up their beverages (wine) and signed them up for excursions before the rest of the passengers had a chance to do so. In such a small group, this felt like an unfair advantage. Guess you get what you pay for. Being surprised by this once onboard, while annoying, did not ruin our vacation.
Our return to Guayaquil was as easy as our coming, and we were back at the Hilton Colon in time for their New Year's Eve party to end all parties (extra charge for that). Incredible food, decorations, music and service. Viva la vida local!
Jacada was wonderful to work with. After we booked the trip we considered changing the dates. Rachel created another itinerary for us and was quite patient while we decided what to do. During the trip they checked in with us to make sure the car, driver and hotel was working out and they called to let us know that one of our flights would be delayed. I have no problem recommending them to friends and I look forward to traveling with them again.
