Enclosed in one of the town’s typical colonial residences of sloping terracotta roofs and whitewashed walls, this private villa has been fitted out with a more modern interior of modest simplicity and natural style.

The hotel’s best feature is its terrace and pool area which makes expert use of the house’s position on a small bluff giving you enchanting views over the bumpy rooftops to the cathedral dome beyond. There is a smart but simplistic sitting area here and hammocks slung between the wall. At a level below, looking out over the gardens, is the dining area.
