Pousada Abracadabra is one of the most charming and best located hotels in Buzios. Set overlooking the sea but also close to the restaurants and boutique shops of the main village it’s a great place to be.

The 16 rooms are chic and airy – white linens, polished stone floors and dark wood furniture – dotted around the gardens and pool area, making the place both chilled out, cosy and very Buzios.

The restaurant, Mistico, serves Mediterranean inspired dishes and fresh locally caught fish. There is also a rather lovely pool area bar overlooking the sea.
