Taru Villas Rock Villa

In the seaside town of Bentota, Rock Villa is a charming heritage house on a wonderfully quiet stretch of sandy beach tranquil enough to attract nesting turtles and a vibrant birdlife, all too often a rarity along the southern and western coasts of Sri Lanka.

Amid tropical gardens, the main villa and a collection of other buildings are arranged around the pool, with room for 16 people in eight rooms and suites (or 22 with extra beds if booked on an exclusive basis), some of which have their own verandahs and dining areas.

Dine on local, fusion, and international cuisine in the breezy pavilion, with a varied lunch menus and more extravagant three course affairs for dinner.
