I first travelled to Latin America on a four-month trip following a Spanish introductory course in Hong Kong. During my travels, I have been fascinated by the architecture of the Incas along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu; amazed by the biodiversity of animals and birds along the Amazon River in Peru; touched by the tranquillity of the mirror-like salt flats in Bolivia; had my eyes opened by meeting shaman in Ecuador and the friendly Chiapas tribes in Mexico; and even stepped foot on the most remote inhabited island in the world – Easter Island of Chile.

I returned to Hong Kong not only with lots of memorable experiences, but a passion to introduce Latin America to the world. My colleagues and I published the very first Chinese-language South America guide book in Hong Kong.

Being a travel journalist for over 10 years, I have travelled to over 60 countries and back to Latin America on several occasions. From treating myself to a wine and gourmet tour in Chile and Argentina to getting sunburnt on Rio’s Ipanema Beach, I have so much to share with you.
