Having lived in three different countries by the age of 10, and having travelled around a lot of North America and Europe with my family, I have always had an interest in visiting and discovering places. With my love of wildlife, Africa was always of great interest and has become my passion.

I can still remember my first safari in Kenya and all the incredible moments: a huge male lion walking past our vehicle within touching distance, cheetah hunting on the Maasai Mara plains, huge bull elephants approaching us, and meeting the Maasai tribesmen to learn about their culture.

Since then Africa has continued to draw me back for adventures including gorilla trekking in Uganda, enjoying a sundowner with over 100 elephants in Zimbabwe, relaxing on a tropical beach in Zanzibar, white-water rafting on the Zambezi river, tracking black rhino on foot in Namibia, and soaking up the history and vibrancy of Cape Town.

Whilst the wildlife and incredible natural habitats are often the focus, the warm welcome of the local people is always present and there are a number of fascinating cultures to discover. The Bushmen of Botswana, the Himba in Namibia and Maasai of Kenya and Tanzania are some of the incredible people you can meet and learn about their unique cultures.
