I have traveled and worked all over the world, but feel lucky to have called Africa home for over a year. Touring from the lush, green Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, across all of East Africa, skimming the orange dunes of Namibia and on into South Africa…. and back again, a few times!
Understanding cultures and local customs is a favourite pastime for me when I’m travelling. I feel very privileged to have worked with local tribes who have taught me and guided me across some of the Great Plains of the continent: Learning how to spot a leopard hiding in a tree is a wonderful skill to have!
Traveling in Africa can connect you to nature and wildlife in a profound way. There is nothing more humbling than trekking through impenetrable forests to come face to face with a family of gorillas. This experience is truly life-changing and therefore makes Rwanda my favourite destination in Africa (and there is so much more to see there too!)
Ask me about my favourite spots to experience epic landscapes in Africa; the sand dunes in Namibia, the sunsets over the Serengeti, African skies, white sandy beaches on Zanzibar and the winding waterways of the Okavango Delta.
