Located in former pharmacy in the heart of Reykjavik, Apotek is a new, high-end boutique hotel.
Guðjón Samúelsson, the former State Architect of Iceland behind some of the most renowned buildings in Iceland such as Hotel Borg, Akureyrarkirkja church and Hallgrímskirkja church, designed the building in 1917 and it remains a local landmark today.
There are 45 contemporary rooms along with an exceptional three-floored tower suite. The hotel sits conveniently within walking distance of a variety of shops, galleries and restaurants – and houses its own restaurant and bar.
