This 12-night journey highlights three of northern Chile’s most captivating regions: Easter Island, the Atacama Desert and the Wine Region. Start with a night in Santiago before flying to Easter Island for four days of exploring Moai statues and local culture. Then, return to the mainland to unwind in Chile’s renowned wine country – tour vineyards, taste regional wines and savour local cuisine. Finally, venture north to the surreal landscapes of the Atacama Desert, where you can stargaze, hike, bike and float in high-altitude salt lakes, returning each night to a luxury lodge.

Four nights on Easter Island
Easter Island, also known as Rapa Nui, is one of the most intriguing small islands of the world, offering fantastic scenery and mystical sites to see. Your travel designer will be able to talk you through the various activities that can be arranged for you during your stay. Some of our favourite excursions include a privately guided trip to see the ancient Moai statues, a scuba diving trip or a trek to explore the beautiful scenery with a naturalist guide.

Days 6-9
Three nights in the Chilean Wine Region
South of Santiago lies the rich central valleys and numerous vineyards of Chile’s Wine Region. Your choice of daily activities and excursions will depend on the hotel or lodge chosen, but just speak to our Latin America travel designers about selecting the best one for you. To give you an idea; there’s horse riding, wine tastings, vineyard tours, fine dining, hiking and much more.

Days 9-13
Four nights in the Atacama Desert
Check into your chosen lodge and spend your time exploring the Atacama Desert with the many different excursions available. Venture out and explore this incredible wilderness on foot, 4WD vehicle, horseback and mountain bike, or soar over it in a hot air balloon. Depending on which lodge you chose, this may be in small groups or entirely private – speak to your travel designer so we can find the lodge that suits you best.

Set off in a 4WD vehicle with your expert guide to traverse the Atacama’s salt flats, lava fields and canyons with an expert guide.

Go on a mountain biking excursion through the valleys and plateaus of the Atacama Desert. Ride along winding trails, rocky landscapes and vast open plains.

Take to the skies in a hot air balloon and soar above the Atacama, taking in sweeping panoramic views of the desert below.
