Originally Casa Mallqui was designed as residence for researchers. However, over time the purposes have expanded to work as a rural lodge for visitors to the centre and the surrounding area. The Ecolodge is perfectly situated to hike through the beautiful countryside & to observe the conservation efforts of the local area, which are evident through the numerous orchids and native birds.
