Built by the Marquis de Picoaga as his home, this colonial mansion blends the best of old and new Cusco. With its colonial wing dating back to the seventeenth century and a contemporary wing that’s big on comfort, this is an upscale Ramada hotel in the centre of the city.

Fully equipped rooms – some featuring city views or hydromassage tubs – sit around an arcaded courtyard, while stone archways, original murals, a patio and fountain continue the historic charm. The new wing then offers a range of modern rooms with a chic, minimalist design and bundles of comfort.

Dining is taken care of at El Marquez Restaurant which looks out to the characteristic red-tiled roofs of Cusco and a relaxing cocktail lounge.
