These are two almost identical yachts, treated as just one for the purposes of booking. Both the 25-metre yachts have capacity for 20 guests, comfortably accommodated in ten outwards facing cabins over three decks. What’s great about these yachts is the fact that there is one guide per ten guests (two on board, and one of the ratios in Galapagos cruises), meaning that the group sizes are much smaller than the standard sixteen per guide that many other cruises work to.
The interiors are compact and comfortable, decorated throughout with teak. All cabins are air conditioned and the design of the boat gives a more stable platform for a more relaxing cruise. Eric is fitted with solar panels for ecological reasons and sustainable cruises.
The onboard chef prepares locally-sourced gourmet-style meals, including classic Ecuadorian dishes, alongside international cuisine. House wine and local beer are included during dinner, and soft drinks are available all day.
Guests can explore the waters during snorkelling trips or by kayak, and there are adult-only and family departure dates available on these cruise ships too.
Travelling to the Galapagos (and any other delicate ecosystem) should always be undertaken with a responsible company; Ecoventura is a leader in sustainable tourism, with initiatives that include establishing the Galapagos Marine Biodiversity Fund with WWF.
