Meticulously positioned amidst 123 acres of wild landscape yet not too far from the sea, Kasiiya’s five air-conditioned tented suites put guests in touch with nature, giving them space to pause, breathe and make the most of their experience of The Guanacaste coast.
The 5 tented suites have been constructed from mainly natural materials on timber frame platforms, each offering total comfort and ultimate privacy.
Here food lovers can indulge in Chef Sebastian Guevara’s culinary delights. Here you will experience the true flavor of the land, as the views from the estate, the serenity and the ocean inspires all of the dishes, which are presented as beautifully as Papagayo’s nature itself.
At Kasiiya there are a host of activities on offer, since its wonderful location by the coast allows guests to dive head first into a range of water sports such as sea kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling as well as simply relaxing on the idyllic beaches or swimming the pristine waters.
Here you can also explore the several nature trails around the grounds before enjoying a sunset shakra cleansing and bespoke spa treatments with Yumuna their Shaman to help you wind down in the evenings. While to re-energize in the mornings, you can partake in the unique movement classes and yoga classes overlooking the glistening sea.
Your stay here will not be easily forgotten.
Zero impact on the environment
Kasiiya was built to have zero impact on the environment. Designed by renowned Paris-based firm AW2, spaces are designed to evolve with nature, with touches such as the decks trimmed so trees can grow through and terraces turned so the sun hits just right. In addition to this, if Kasiiya picked up and moved, it would leave no trace. The property is run on solar power, and there are also no plastics, but guests can drink treated rain water straight out of the tap. The creation of Kasiiya was fuelled by an ambition to conserve the tropical forest and positively impact the retreat’s surrounding environment.
