Patumirim is a house that personifies Bahian barefoot, beachfront luxury: spacious, modestly sophisticated and set 100m from a semi-private golden Trancoso beach.
Located in one of area’s most sought after and private stretches, Villa Patumirim enjoys wonderful seclusion with extensive gardens and grounds as well as being very near to the boutiques, bars and restaurants of the local town. Similarly the typical open-plan living in the style of many properties in the area is complemented with a high standard of amenities.
Wide patios wrap themselves around each tier of the house, shaded by the stooping trees and the grass fringing that dangles from the roof. There’s hardwood flooring throughout, locally-made furniture, lamps, native artwork, plantation-style shuttered doors and windows, and with open-plan dining and sitting areas the boundaries between inside and out are pleasantly blurred.
The bedrooms are minimal and smart with large double beds, alluring white linen, wood polished floors and all have sweeping views of the sea. The master suite is very large at 100m2 and has its own Jacuzzi.
