Magnificently set at the very edge of the shore Casarão Amarelo’s neat gardens and attractive villa overlooks a tranquil Paraty bay strewn with islands, and the property itself is private, exclusive and very Brazilian in character.
The style and layout is typically fazenda (ranch) with a vibrant colonial twist and originality. Wide patios wrap around the main house strewn with hammocks to lie in, tables to eat breakfasts off, and all the while with wide, uninterrupted views of the sea and inlet.
There are four rooms traditionally and sparsely dressed with comfortable antique beds and furniture, Hispanic tiled bathrooms and wide windows framed by colourful shutters.
The gardens are of a good size and families will find lots of room to move and play. There are even steps down from the pool and lawn to a small beach should you want a dip in the sea instead.
