In keeping with the town itself, Pousada do Amparo is a charming hotel, set in a converted colonial building and decorated with antique furniture.
Rooms are comfortable, some with four poster beds and the hotel also has a small pool and is home to one of Olinda’s best restaurants. The views from the back of the hotel out to sea are excellent.
