Mystic River Resort
Mystic River Resort is situated on the banks of the Macal River in the jungle of the Cayo District. The lodge is located within a 75-acre private reserve with a wide variety of trails where guests can hike and explore the flora and fauna of the jungle.
The resort features five spacious rooms which offer views of the forest. La Ranita, which means little frog, offers farm-to-table cuisine and guests can help the chef pick ingredients from the organic garden. You can enjoy everything from local Belizean dishes to Thai-inspired cuisine. The Palapa Jungle Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing drink while watching the river gently flowing below and cormorants and egrets flying through the air.
Mystic River Resort generates its own electricity and collect and purify their own water. As part of a reforestation program, they have endeavoured to replant many indigenous trees cut down during the logging years in Belize.
While you’re here, enjoy hiking through the jungle, exploring the river and, of course, relaxing and taking in the pristine surroundings.
Whatever you want your luxury tour or safari itinerary to include, we’ll create something fully bespoke for you… and only you.
