Estancia El Bordo

Located in the province of Salta, the Estancia is one of the oldest estates in the country. The main house, of Spanish colonial style, dates back to 1609 and perfectly combines the simplicity of the past with today’s modern comforts. The estate provides an experience that allows travellers to really get to know Salta’s stunning countryside, to share the authentic lifestyle of a working estate and to learn in detail the history and rich traditions of the north of Argentina.

Guests have the opportunity to experience Peruvian Horses, one of the world’s last remaining naturally gaited horses, on guided rides around the grounds or beyond, as well as experiencing the traditional gaucho lifestyle with cattle roundups and horsemanship exhibitions. Other activities include cooking lessons, birdwatching, trekking, massages and bicycle rides.
