Entering the Palacio de Villapanés is quite the theatrical experience. As you step through the huge wooden doors and into the courtyard with its parquet flooring, marble columns and elegant arches it’s like stepping back in time.
The hotel is a former palace built in the 18th century for the first marquis of Terreblanca del Aljarafe. The interior is a blend of classic and contemporary, with plenty of original features as well as furniture from international designers. Each of the 50 rooms and suites have retained much of their charm while having all the features of a modern boutique hotel.
