Traditional charm on the shores of Lake Bled
- 22 rooms
- Swimming pool
- Finnish sauna
Lake Bled is one of Slovenia’s most enchanting locations and Hotel Triglav is the perfect spot from which to enjoy it.
The hotel was built by the Mayor of Bled and first opened its doors in 1906, co-inciding with Bled’s newly aquired status as an offical ‘tourist attraction’. After years of neglect after the Second World War, Hotel Triglav was completely refurbished, but keeping its original features that give it its charm.
There are 22 rooms, all of which have views over the lake. Antique furnishings and original artwork give them lots of character, and many have their own balconies from which you can enjoy the views.
At Restaurant 1906, guests can enjoy traditional Slovene cuisine with a modern twist, made using local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel also has its own wine cellar where you can enjoy tastings. Slovenia is an outdoor lover’s dream, with ample opportunity for hiking and cycling. After a day in the great outdoors, come back and take a dip in the indoor swimming pool and relax in the Finnish sauna.
