In the heart of Longyearbyen, the world’s most northerly town, is the Basecamp Hotel – a totally unique and wonderful place to stay.
There are just 16 rooms, each individually decorated with driftwood, sealskin and slate. From all the rooms, you’ll enjoy beautiful views over the town, towards the mountains surrounding the valley of Longyeardalen.
There are no tevelvisions in the rooms, but guests are free to borrow a book from the lobby and there is a large screen in the Northern Lights Loft if you do fancy watching something on the television.
