Bauers Palladio Hotel & Spa

The Palladio Hotel & Spa is located on Giudecca Island in the Venetian Lagoon, a secluded spot that can be hard to come by in Venice.

A former convent, the hotel has 58 elegant rooms and 21 suites, many decorated in traditional Venetian style. A separate building houses rooms of a more contemporary design with hardwood floors and modern furnishings.

There is a beautiful private garden and guests can dine al fresco at the l’Ulivo restaurant during the warmer months. The spa is well worth a visit, and consists of Turkish baths, a huge Jacuzzi and eight treatment rooms.

Although the hotel is set back from the busy streets, you’re ideally situated to explore the city and are just minutes from the Piazza San Marco by shuttle.
